(Thanks to DJ Paranoia for providing this information)
Well, so thanks to someone (Morgan Webb) who broke their NDA with Nintendo, it has been found out that the popular Nintendo DS game Osu! Tatake! Ouendan!! will be coming Stateside under the monkier "Elite Beat Agents".
No official word from Nintendo on this, but seriously expect some info to come from E3 regarding this. _________________

I was going to post this. <_<
It's pretty cool that Nintendo is bringing Ouendan over to America, now lets hope it remains almost intact, or at least do a good job with the localization.
For those who don't know what this game is about, you'll just love this, or this
(EDIT, it should be 2 different videos of the same song... <_<) _________________

All I care about is that the last stage remains intact. Song and all. _________________

The named changed. It's now Elite Beat Agents (which makes a lot more sense). _________________

I was always wondering how Nintendo would ever pull off a stateside version.
Personally, even though none of the songs will probably be intact or anything, it's still pretty neat.
And dear freaking lord, that's the first time I saw Ready Steady Go on that difficulty, WTF. _________________

I doubt Elite Beat Agents will be as good as Ouendan but I'm buying it anyways. It'll be fun. |

I've played it once, as my friend had it. I didn't get the concept and I sucked.
Is it really that good? _________________

Yes... Once you know how to play. I failed the first song about 5 times because I had no idea what to do. Then I watched the intructional dancing in the beginning. =\ _________________

I hope they still have the grl cheerleaders from Insane Mode. & Ready Steady Go. Man, I'm still stuck on it on Insane. It needs more songs, also. 15 is kinda low. Maybe 20. |

It's like exactly the same. If you liked Ouendan, you'll like Elite Beat Agents. It'll just be different songs and whatnot. But the format is the same, and it still has the comic-style graphics and the random weird stories. If one is better, it probably won't be by that much. _________________

The 'different songs' part might just kill the game. Plus I doubt I'm gonna find the insane Japanese manga humor I found in Ouendan. |

I didn't find the songs in Ouendan were all that interesting. I can't imagine anything they could put in this game that could make it markedly less fun. It'll only be less fun if, say, they only had a really easy difficulty or something.
I played the demo at E3 and it still had weird, crazy stories. It's pretty similar. _________________

I couldn't have more faith in EBA. The same team is developing it and everything.
Also, the licensed music looks like it's going to be just as fun for the game as the Japanese music was.
Walkie Talkie Man. I was sold right there. _________________

QFT and bolded. I almost forgot what Walkie Talkie Man was until I heard it recently. I could definatley see myself playing that song on EBA! The song length is just right too. _________________
