oh yes, they test them out first. I bet they all must 100% the songs before adding them to any given release. Getting fantastics on the step jump parts on tell is piss easy. wow. And like you said, you're not a very good player and all I've noticed from this particular thread are the opinions of inexperienced players. "oh nightmare intense will be quad starred" how fucking stupid do you have to be to believe that. Coming as an experienced and DECENT player myself, I can GUARANTEE you that that course will NEVER get a 100% Even vertex squared, oh yeah it seems totally feasible when you sit at your computer typing away, but how about this, go to your arcade and play that song a few times and you'll understand right then and there as to why it won't be 100% |

Seriously, Im not lying. Kyle Ward told me that even HE has done Pandy and Tell and done the step jumps. And I have to still ask if they have ****'d every song, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't put it out there if it wasn't possible. But for Nightmare intense, it will take a LOOOOONG time, because eventually you will get at least ONE excellent. I'm saying that you CAN do it, but it was VERY difficult, there is nothing that CANNOT be ****'d

They test to make sure that no steps/small groups of steps are impossible to hit fantastics on. They don't test to make sure that anyone can do every step PERFECTLY. All songs are POSSIBLE (as of now), but many are not FEASIBLE. No one will take the hours and hours and hours to perfect their technique, and then make NO small error on any of the steps. I'm sure that everything could be ****'d eventually, but I KNOW that everything won't be.

Not trying to argue here, but you'd be very surprised at some of the stupid records in Guiness. If some guy REALLY wanted to, he could put himself in Guiness as the first person to quad a 12 IF a 12 ges quad'd which in songs like ! and Energizer's case is actually feasible, though it would take unbelievable whoring.

I could swallow somebody doing energizer. It's synced well and the steps aren't that complex compared to other 12s. It would be matter of stamina, really. Same goes for delerium.

No one will get one excellent, hell I doubt if anyone gets below 20 ex on that course. Let me ask this, how you even played nightmare intense? Energizer, bloodrush, !, and vertex squared, wow yup sounds like that's going to happen. Not only that, but with stupid mods such as decel, wave, etc. It's not going to happen and you can't really make an educated calculation when you completely suck at the game. Also I'd like to note that kevbo has a 91% on that, someone who HAS AAA'd DDR extreme and even has achieved 13 or so ex on bloodrush, that's far from perfect and it's not going to get much higher than that and your saying it's going to be quad starred? LOL. Maybe, MAYBE 98% someday. But seriously be realistic. wow. |

I generally agree that there are several songs that won't be ****ed anytime soon, almost definitely not while ITG2 is the popular arrow-smashing game amongst the "1337" crowd.
Thing is, though, the topic isn't asking "what songs will never be ****ed anytime soon?" It doesn't say "what songs will never be ****ed in our lifetimes?" Hell, it doesn't even say "what songs will never be ****ed by humans? (Who's to say some alien civilization from the planet Smashatron hasn't devised stepcharts that would make Pandy Expert go crying to its mommy?)" It asks, "what songs will NEVER be ****ed?" Never is entirely different from the next six months or our lifetimes or anything. There's nothing to suggest that years or hundreds of years from now, there won't be players who make today's crop look like pansies and have no problem hitting arrows that quickly and that accurately. Given that any particular PART of a song can be FFCed, it stands to reason that the entire song can therefore also be FFCed. Is it likely? No, especially at present. But "unlikely as hell" is a completely different thing than "impossible".
In short, I'm of the thought that given a long enough timeframe, anything that can happen will. Am I being outlandish? Sure, but in my mind it's just as outlandish to suggest that these songs will NEVER EVER be FCed (Which, again, is what the topic is asking--NOT "Will it happen any time soon?", NOT even "Will we live to see it?").

Way to be a fag by pretending to sound like you have something useful to say. How can one be open-minded to a fact that a course such as nightmare intense will never be quad starred? That's practically refuting anything that is well known to exist to this very day and denying the fact that it does. Maybe if you and half the other people in here weren't so fucking stupid, we wouldn't have this problem no?
