The BPM's are almost identical and the step pattern is almost the same. So why does the 16th run in Utopia feel much harder than the one in Xuxa? |

Utopia: 6 bpm faster. If you're having trouble with such runs, a 6 bpm difference around that speed is certainly nowhere near "almost identical". Once you get better, it will matter less, as 130 and 136 I would consider "almost identical" now, whereas someone in that skill range might feel the difference quite a bit. _________________

I don't really know because I don't know the notes leading up to the stream, but maybe Utopia is more tiring in the beginning? |

not at all. the whole one foot part is one big rest area, and until you hit those few rushes towards the beginning of Utopia, it's quite simple as well being almost all 8ths. _________________

Utopia is more constant really, 8.5 measures of basically no breaks.
In all honesty, Xuxa's jumps at the end of the individual streams in the fast part throw me off and I score worse on Xuxa, but that's just me. Of course when you're comparing an 80.15 and a 76.80, then you're not good on either song.
Ya, I suck at anything above 10. _________________

The BPM is measured in quarter notes. To find the BPM at which you step, you have to multiply that speed by four, and that's the speed in 16th notes.
Utopia: 166 x 4 = 664
Xuxa: 160 x 4 = 640
So, at 16th note speed, Utopia is actually 24 BPM faster. I think that makes a bit of difference. _________________

Plus, though I haven't passed either, I've always felt Utopia's run didn't go with the music quite as well. It seems just the slightest bit off for some reason. |

Yea that happened to me for the longest time w/ Utopia, I'd be doing fine then all of a sudden WAY OFF WAY OFF and I couldn't get back on beat. |

Even though I passed Xuxa before I passed Utopia, I personally think that the stream on Xuxa is harder if for no other reason than the fact that they they threw in those jumps like that. _________________
