Recently I saw a TV programm witch cauth my attention immediately. An old couple was playing DDR with two mats at same time. They were japanese and looked over 70 years old. It supriced me how well they actually could dance (they were as good as me when I had played DDR for 2-3 months).

In the interview they told that they played DDR because it is a good exercise and for fun. This proves that DDR is ment for every aged. As long as you have the right motivation you can become good in DDR wether you were yung or old.

If you have seen old people playing DDR, share your experiences.

My grandmother wanted to play ddr and my grandpa ruined my first mat by playing with his shoes on when i was asleep, they didn't know how to play but i guess it still counts?

I don't know what you classify as "Old", but we do have quite a few people in their 30s, 40s and 50s who are on this site and play the game regularly. Slowpoke is the first one that comes to my mind.

Anyways - there's actually a thread about the older people on this site and their accomplishments, it's located here: http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=98366
