What the hell are you talking about. There aren't any 1/128th notes in any song. And nothing in ITG is even remotely hard on the controller. |
Agreed. There are NO 128ths in the game. There are barely any 64ths, though some songs have them, but you really on do drills with them when the song is like at 70BPM (hello Euphoria)
When it comes to not being able to do it on a controller....ouch. The hardest song I know of for the controller is probably Euphoria. I suck, I can only get like an 89.XX with controller. Oh wait......that means I can easily pass it every time. Weren't you talking about a new Vertex stepchart? And now you're complaining about Expert being too hard? Start making sense. _________________

I agree. Pete Ellison does awesome work, but the ones that aren't great, really are not that great. Less Then Three had some potential, but it ends up being annoying and repetitive with both the lyrics, and the lead synth. Sorry Pete, but I'd rather listen to Go 60 Go (The only song by you that's 160 BPM that I like so far). |

I know there's no such note. It was only an example. Some songs are difficult on a controller because not everyone can move their fingers as quickly as required to pass songs like Euphoria or Pandemonium. Some can't even read the arrows correctly.
The bottom line is that if a song is difficult on a controller for some people, than the song overall is too difficult for some to pass on foot either. I personally am not complaining about anything. Just stating my opinion and basing it on arcade and home experience. _________________

If it's too fast for you to even read on controller then you simply need to practice more. Playing with thumbs is admittedly clumsy, but I had at least passed every song on controller by the 2nd or 3rd day I got ITG. Keep in mind I couldn't even pass every 10 on controller the very first day. And the idea that if it's too hard for controller then it's too hard for feet doesn't totally work either, given that there are a couple scores like Kevbo's 13 Excellents on Bloodrush that I can't even beat on SM (34e). _________________

I suck with my hands/fingers. Best ive gotten on bloodrush in SM with my index fingers is like a 93% or something. That's miles and miles behind Kevins 13 excellents on his feet. Just because you might find something hard with your fingers doesn't mean its immediately harder with your feet, for example on easier songs where stamina is not a problem, i do much better on my feet, 9 footers for instance. I'm too clumsy using fingers to play. And well, just because you can't pass something on controller doesn't mean in any way that you simply wont ever be able to pass something on feet. You just keep playing and practicing and eventually anyone can if they stick with it. Whether or not you get better with the controller, i don't know, but that's irrelevant. _________________

Euphoria is noticeably harder for me on controller than feet. _________________

OMG Double Post.
The first 14-footer should be Spanish Fly by Van Halen. If you've heard it, you're probably thinking 14 is too low. _________________

Plus lets not forget that kick-assery that is Machinae Supremacy, and I'm also a pretty big fan of Hybrid as well. I swear they better have at least one song from each of them on ITG3. _________________

I'd sure like to see more SpaceKats stuff. Easy or not, it just felt like a glaring omission on ITG2. _________________

Less Than Three is the best song in the entire game so far, and I defy anyone to tell me otherwise. _________________

Less Than Three is eurobeat. Eurobeat is awesome.
In the Groove needs some eurobeat. Thus, In the Groove 3 needs Less Than Three. _________________

I agredd with your first 3 sentences Malice, but I can't make the leap to the 4th.
ITG needs some non-geeky Eurobeat. (Sarcasm detector, what?) _________________
