Update: I've cleared CIU (Controller It Up) Can Can, a 12 with a healthy D. At least it's been cleared! _________________

There is no 16x. |
ROFLMAO, uh...yeah there is a 16x. |
There has never been a 16x on any Pump version. |
Ill get the code when I get home, the stupi sites are blocked since im at school. |
There's no 16x. Accept that you're wrong. There is, however, a Random Velocity speed, which will randomly alternate between the 5 available speed (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 8x)
Zero is beautiful and I love it |
ROFLMAO you PIU nubs. Heres the code.
Put the speed up to 8x. Then put in 331199775 and it should make the little activation noise. It works on exceed 2 and zero for sure. Go do it so I can laugh at everyone who didnt think there was x16. |
That's just acceleration, it's like Boost in DDR. That's not 16x. |
LOL, your ruining my fun. I was gunna see if anyone was going to try it. _________________

Can we stop this quoting pyramid already? How many threads have died under their weight? This was a healthy thread and now some crazy people have taken over and are trying to kill it simply for not being in the title of the website.
Shame people, shame.
I have to say that on PIU Exceed, my favourite music section has to be Banya. All that classical music is awesome! Even the Ave Maria's not bad, though I don't play that one very much. _________________

I think I posted here before.. but yeah, here I am again. Been playing DDR since.. last April, but started to get into Pump in October and supposedly "retired" from DDR since.
My best song is Canon-D CZ with a D.. and I hope to get way better.
The problem is, home pad doesn't really help and it costs 1.25 a game at the arcade. |

Pyramid? Why would it bother you? Are you on 56k? But anywho, Ive had my stages where I mostly played K-POP then I got bored of it and went to Banya and now im on my POP channel phase. I wish Andamiro would pay more attention to the Pop channel. _________________

I have broadband but that's not the point. I've seen a handful of threads get locked because of pyramid quoting. One last week in fact.
I like all 3 channels, Banya first, then Pop, then K-Pop.
Is Canon-D on PIU Exceed? I definitely haven't unlocked it if it is. _________________

Speaking of home Exceed...
Have Live downloads been confirmed for the future at all, or are we Xbox owners frick for Canon D?
...and Mad Catz seemed to have stopped caring about replacement mats. Where the poopy have they all gone?
EDIT: Wait, they're back again. Rock on. _________________

Meh, the pyramid wasnt that big. I doubt theyd lock the sticky for it.
I like all 3 channels too but I was just saying that im really into pop right now because I ot tired of kpop and banya...I still play everything though.
Canon D is on Exceed for the PS2 but not for the XBox. They said they wre going to have songpacs but they didnt sell as much as they expected and I guess decided against. Itd be a good thing if you guys bought another bundle altogether to get the second pad. Its actually cheaper too than some people are selling the pads by themselves. Itd boost their sales and they might bring another CS mix. Theres a rumor that theres going to be an Exceed 2 with Exceed 2 songs AND some songs from Zero but we dont know if its an april fools joke or not. _________________

Cool I got the PS2 version so I figure I'll be seeing it eventually. Does it only have a Crazy chart or does it have the other difficulties for us noobs? _________________

How does the grading (for home version, if it is different than arcade) work exactly? I'm trying to get my F on Dignity up to a D, and I want to know exactly how much I will need. If there is a formula, I would really appreciate it. _________________

Wermo, if you're going for all the unlocks on the PS2 version, it takes awhile, but you get everything eventually by playing a TON of arcade mode. There are also three songs that can be unlocked by playing Suvival Mode (passing songs in Home Mode unlocks them in Survival), and clearing 30 different songs in a row regardless of difficulty, the songs being Street Show Down, Flamenco, and Monkey Fingers. The other unlocks happen when the step mileage reaches certain points (My Way at 10km, One Love at 50km, and Canon-D unlocks at 100km). A few songs unlock through Arcade version by getting Internet codes after playing a certain number of "sets" of songs, meaning you have to play 4 different (A or S 1st 3 songs to get the 4th) songs (difficulty doesn't matter, but I'm not sure on this) in Arcade Mode, and pass the Bonus (4th) Stage to get the code (and these are the most tedious to get, because they take so long). Play 20 arcade sets to get Point Break, 50 sets to unlock Dignity, 100 sets to get We Don't Stop (from Exceed 2), and ~150 (it seems to vary) sets to get the final unlock, Go. All the songs videos and modifiers and Video Mode can be unlocked by playing all the songs in Home Mode, provided you have them unlocked.
Basically, just play Arcade Mode to death, make sure you get the IR codes at the end, and you'll get most of the hard-to-get songs. It took me what seemed like FOREVER to unlock Go, but I have, and I <3 that song.
As for the Xbox owners, you got gypped, no Canon-D or those 3 other songs for you. No songpacks are planned for release, but you can download a stepchart editor for free. Probably just as well; the unlock system for songs on the Xbox version is messed up anyway. Good job Mastiff.
Oh, and before I forget, Canon-D has charts for ALL difficulties. Yes Virginia, there is a Normal, Hard, and even a Freestyle chart, in addition to the Crazy and Nightmare difficulties. And it's pretty easy on Normal, and not too hard on Hard. (Crazy, that's another story. I think it's even harder than Dignity Crazy. )
DDRgasm: I can't speak from my experience, but if you're going for a pass on Dignity, depending on how accurate you are, you can pass it with as many as 110+ misses or as few as 50 misses. The Max combo is key; if you nail the triple freezes and most of the triple jumps, you can pass it, even with 70-100 misses. Try to shoot for about 600 or so Perfects; that's what most people who pass it usually get. Build up your stamina, and good luck. _________________

Yeah, passed Dignity. I had like 560 perfects and 60 misses. The time before that when i failed , I had 70 misses, but I also had 70 bads. It was because of my pad. When I was folding in to put it away, I always got a lot of bads, but now that I tack it on my wall, I barely get any pad boo's.
And I definately agree that the triples are really important. But I never really had problems with them. You know what they say about big feet.... easy to hit triples _________________

Congrats on passing Dignity Crazy!! That's a MAJOR accomplishment in Pump, even though with the advent of Zero, that song has long since lost its "god-like" status that it used to own.
In any case, if you haven't passed Canon-D Cz yet, try it; that would be the only other foot-killer in the PS2 version of Exceed SE.
And yeah, it's good to keep your Pump softpad as flat as possible. I have my pad stuck on top of my sister's broken metal DDR pad, and I just shove it under my bed when I'm not playing Pump. I don't have to fold it or anything, and it works like it was still brand new (since September). No pad misses and such. If you take care of it, it seems to hold up better than the Konami DDR soft mats. _________________

Unfortunately, I have the Xbox Exceed, so I don't have access to Canon-D. Unless I make my own in the step editor with the official steps _________________

seriously, congrats on dignity! I'm slowly getting the hang of that... I feel that those, and a few step paterns are the only things keeping me from breaking the 14/15 difficulty barrier.
Now K-Hop channel on PumpZero, that was fun as hell! _________________

I haven't played Zero yet (though I've heard the GST), but just overall in the series K-Pop channel is win. I mean, it's had I Love You, Valenti, Run To You, Space Fantasy, H.O.T. stuff, Novasonic stuff, Tell Me Tell Me, Perfect!... Eh, but virtually everything in Pump is good.
And the full version of My Way is truly a fantastic. _________________
