I sing along to songs

I've DDR (& Guitar Freaks...& Beatmania) songs on my MP3 player

I know tons of useless DDR trivia

My friends know I'm really good (fact, one time when I wasn't around, there was DDR & they were like "ZOMFG?! WHERE'S [insert name here]?! HE COULD'VE BEATEN THEM!!")

I've got an avatar that is a Benami artist (guess which one in the pictionary thread) (I will as soon as someone can do my image request...)

I'm a member of this forum laugh.gif

Everytime I go to a town/city, I'll check the machine locations

- Sometimes I close my eyes and see scrolling arrows.
- I get pissed when I go into an arcade that doesn't have DDR.
- I'm better than all my friends. E13.gif
- When I can't play DDR, I play FFR.
- When I listen to music, I make up steps in my head or on the nearest table by tapping my fingers on it.
- Sometimes I dance on the tiles on my kitchen floor.
- I tell people I don't play sports, I play DDR!
- I insist on playing DDR everytime I go to the mall, no matter what.
- I have a DDR area in my basement, and I have a DDR workout outfit.

I'm sure there's more.

Or maybe your just jealous of our MAD SKILLS. Most of the time, people who say that don't want to admit that they're jealous. ADMIT IT.

Most of the time, yes, you're right, the people really are just jealous.

But this isn't one of those times. I really don't care much about DDR, but judging from your noobish comment, you probably haven't even A'd the game yet.

I simply play to gain skill. Can't gain skill if I don't play. All of this other bullshit is nonsense. After 4 years of playing should my answer really surprise people?

* I play DDR since 11/2000 (I started with DDR 3rd MIX CS)
* I own a lot of home versions of DDR (from Japan, US and recently, Europe)
* I have friends that play DDR, but not a lot (like me). They have never obtained AAA on any song (like me)
* I try to find new DDR AC machines in my country.
* I own a DDR pad (When I started playing DDR I started practicing with my PSone controller, but I just had to wait 3 weeks to have another DDR pad).
* I try to add songs to SM when I have time.
* I study the differences between DDR versions from different countries (AC and Home Versions).
* I think I'm the one of my family who plays it.

I live, breath, and eat DDR for lunch, dinner, and dessert(wake me up before noon and I swear I will throw barrels at you until you have no more mans left)
The OP pretty much nails it on the head for me.
-ALL of the arcade employees know me. Very well. Even the ones hired just weeks ago

-I've broken 2 soft pads, in 4 months, and I'm sad now because I can't do double at home.

-I do become sad when I come across a broken machine(like the one at my arcade, the coin thing broke so now it don't work. this is VERY bad for those of you who may not realize...I am in wyoming, and my town has one machine, which is half in my state. And the other one is a 4 hour drive from here)

-I can't remember the last time I had a dream not dealing with DDR

-When I'm not playing DDR on a pad, I'm rubbing away at my 2, 4, 6, 8 and/or w, a ,s, d, and/or arrow keys(I mix it up sometimes)

-I not only look at stepcharts for fun but I print them out and put them in books so I can look at them during school.

-The only time I don't think about DDR is when someone is speaking to me. I try not to speak to people as much as possible.

-I'm in a small community, one arcade, and so everyone who goes there probably sees me(I can walk to it, so I'm there every night, weekdays and weekends) and I'm fairly certain I have a fan or two(not the kind thats cools me off)

-I've been playing DDR for a total of 4 months. I'm one of the best in my community(I know I'm not good compared to most DDR players though, especially here. On a pad, I have yet to get a AAA on a heavy song)

-I see arrows, night and day.

-I daydream new ways to get crowds at the arcade, during school

-Right now I have AP Physics homework that is not started and College US History homework that is not started, because of DDR, and it's due tomorrow first thing in the morning

-I hum DDR songs(sorry, no singing for me, I don't do that stuff) whenever I can get away with it(you know, like, not at funerals and such)

-My iPod shuffle(512 MB) is 3/4 DDR songs. I do not use the shuffle function.

-I am white, but most people agree that I could not possibly be white due to how much I've progress in so little time(I dunno if I have, but in my town...anything is considered fast)

-I play DDR right before I go to sleep. I wake up and it's the first thing I do, even though nature has it's own intentions in the morning.

-DDR machines make me happy. Almost as happy as my compy(sorry, but I built it, so I gots love for it even if it's not the most powerful thing). Standing near a DDR machine ebbs my hatred of sophomores temporarily.

-My dad is planning on taking me to colleges this summer(yes, I am still in highschool) and I'm making sure we hit multiple machines on the way(this is Wyoming...you have no idea how long it takes to get to ANYTHING. the nearest town is 30 minutes away, and thats when I'm going 11...I mean an hour when I'm going the speed limit)

-I have written multiple essays about DDR and how it makes me feel specal(not a spelling error. just so you know)

-I have a lovely set up, it's in a basement, 500W stereo, 21" CRT TV(it's ghetto, but I love it nonetheless) a metal iOn pad(A, as in one...makes me sad) two chairs(I sleep on them) and two fans(for when I was playing double, one on each pad)

That's all I can think of right now. I need to do homework, so I don't have time to think up some more stuffs.

Well I have every single U.S. release of DDR for consoles (yes even Mario Mix & Disney Mix).

I used to play a lot before but have kind of laid off the past few months because of real life, but with SuperNOVA coming in I'm sure I'll be back to my 3+ trips to the arcade a week.

I have the sidebar stuff for DDRMAX (got it from an old arcade) and I have it displayed in my room. I've saved all the name tags I've gotten from various tournaments and have them displayed in my room also, so I guess you could say I'm obsessed...

A "How obsessed are you. . ." thread? Oh yeah. XD

1.) I have all but the Extreme console games (not really a big thing I guess, but... xD)
2.) 76/91 songs on my mp3 are from DDR
3.) I made a black wristband... and arrows to go with it. (All fabric, dur.)
4.) In art, we had to make a clay vessel, and I did a DDR-themed one
5.) In music, we had to present a song, and I brought in Destiny
6.) I constantly think about DDR
7.) I have 3 OSTs
8.) I go to the arcade at least once a week (I'm busy, so I don't have a lot of time to go... E2.gif )
9.) I have a binder filled with lyrics, stepcharts, OST contents, etc.
10.) I'm in love with NAOKI
11.) I made a NAOKI plushie
12.) I've memorized a LOT of lyrics for the songs
13.) I have a habit of making Edit Data just for fun
14.) I memorized the Light steps to Rhythm and Police (Mirror) and can play the song without facing the screen
15.) I actually slept on my friend's mat once when I slept over at her house... XDDD
16.) When I asked my dad if I could ever have an actual arcade version at home, he said I could get one when I get the money. nerd.gif
17.) My friends say I'm obsessed/crazy when I start talking about it...
18.) I made up my own DDR character
19.) A lot of the time when I listen to the DDR songs on my mp3, I tap the rhythm of the steps with my fingers
20.) I'm a member of this site

Okay, I think that's enough. biggrin.gif
