These new controllers can't stick, the keys don't go down far enough.

I think my turntable got stiffer if that's even possible.
I didn't play Beatmania for a while. I then play it and my turntable got stiffer. I have to push down on the turntable and then spin. =/

You know, if memory serves that's how you unlocked one of the Japanese versions, was getting a 573 combo. Anyone up for clearing the courses and getting a 573 combo in the process? I'm afraid I'm not up to the task, but I'm sure someone else here would be.

See, I knew one of em had that. alternatively I saw one that mentioned a '634' combo, though I'm not sure what Japanese name/number pun they were going for with that, does anybody know?

Unlockable
Unlock All Songs in the Game
How to Unlock
In any song simply achive a combo of 634 and above. Of couse the songs must have at least 634 notes in order to succeed.
That's basically how to do it. I'm pretty sure if you do an expert course you should be able to hit that number.

Yeah, mine has too. I have to scratch with my middle finger and even then...

Well I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to get a 573 on IIDX02, and I finally got it, I even let it sit through the credits (similar to how the full-unlock trick worked in IIDX 6th style, you have to watch the credits.) but alas, I didn't get any sort of confirmation message.
So I don't know, although that's definetly got to be too much of a coincidence, like they're trying to tell us something.

I picked beatmania up at the virginmega store in times square last week while up in NYC for the weekend when i preformed at carnegie hall... I got it onsale some how, it cost me $49 plus tax, granted i was running low on money the reast of the weekend, but thats what street vendors are for. I came home and asked eb's if they had it in stock, suppirzeingly no one preordered it even, so they didnt have it, qnd wont for a while supposibly, so i feel special. its pretty good, and the controller isnt bad from what ive use it so far.

I played it and was like, "Where's the rest of it?". However, for some oddball reason, I do like it. In fact, I got my first ever AAA on that song on normal tonight. 
And speaking of instruction manual references, anyone else notice, like in DDR, there's a song name at the end of the special thanks section of the credits?

I hope thats a hint that theres another beatmania game coming. Or maybe another bemani game, which I somehow believe is unlikely. |

I have no idea... I do know that's been tradition as far back as DDR Konamix on PSOne, maybe even since DDRUS PSOne, but I don't have that one handy so I wouldn't know.
I probably wouldn't read too much into it though, cause I don't think it means anything. (I'm still wondering if that 573 reference on pg. 9 is alluding to anything or not... you never know.)
