I liked Celebration and The Way You Move. I especially liked the latter song. It was hot.

Hell, even Toxic was good.

Good as in "song quality" good, or "Background quality" good?

My stats right now (after 1 week as a n00b):
Cleared all songs rated 1-5 stars on 5-key & Tribe Groove (which is a 6).
Cleared all songs on Beginner on 7-key.
Cleared all songs on Normal rated 1-3 stars, except Presto & Mr. T. Also cleared Jelly Kiss (4).
Cleared all songs on Hyper rated 1-3 stars. Also cleared Toxic (4).

I'm amazed on how fast I've progressed on BM.
Also, I nicknamed Battle Breaks "The Scratcher" due to all it's scratches. I was thinking of calling it "The Rubber", but w/ my reputation on the Best image thread, that wouldn't sound right.

I think the remix that they included in this game makes the song suck less. The background is like random. That's all I really could explain it as.

The Celebration video is really weird.

So far I have cleared all the songs on 5-Key except ska a go go (WTF!) and on IIDX I can pass all the normals except Colors and like one other song (those really fast streams like at the end of Colors are killing me). On Expert my skills seem to fluctuate day to day, one day I can pwn Jelly Kiss and Mr. T and the next I can't pass either of them. So I'm up to 4's on Hyper

The Way You Move is awesome! I just wish it was a little harder =\

Something I realized the other day while repeadetely trying to pass V and Summer Vacation (which I love by the way

) is that if you really focus on the notes and use a good high speed like 2, a lot of songs become a lot easier.

Progress.....

I just passed Bad Boy Bass Normal. (82%) That song is a nightmare. Definitely shouldn't a 4. Maybe like a 6.

I also passed Ska a go go after figuring out what those two streams at the end went to in training mode over and over.

I STILL can't pass 321 Stars.

Love is Dreaminess is the only Normal song I haven't passed yet. Also a very difficult notechart.

I'm currently working on passing the 6 and 7 star hyper charts, and trying to beat Love is Dreaminess.

I can pass e-motion, g.m.d., I was the one, and Hitch Hiker on Another. Everything else in that mode is way out of my reach.

I use high speed 2 a lot, if not I use high speed 1. It really makes the notes easier to read.

Passed my 1st Another. It was g.m.d. So can't I pass e-motion?

Passed Music To Your Head (4), The Cube (4), Shining Polaris (4), & Mobo*Moga (5) on Normal.

Need to pass 3 more 4-stars to clear all songs rated 1-4 on Hyper (Hitch Hiker, Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix), & Mr. T).

Ska a Go Go....NOT A 7-STAR!

Can get B in 321 Stars, but can't clear....

BTW, those people in the Jelly Kiss video is REALLY them. Heh.

BM's videos are ALOT wierder than DDR. I still can't figure what's going on when they make those videos.

I hate "celebration." All of the other music is pretty good.

Is it just me, or is the Beatmania selection pretty damn ghetto when compared to the IIDX songs?

Anyways, still cannot beat @#$@#$ing Bad Boy Bass on Normal. Did beat one or two level fives, though, which was pretty cool.

I tend to play on the Challenge difficulty.

I played emotion for the first time two days ago on Beginner. Is it just me or is it even much of a song? Like there's barely any music in the song, few words. Let me guess, it's supposed to be emotion put into music?

I just don't get that song.

That's why they should have given us e-motion 2003 ~Romantic Extra~, cause at least that's real music.

There's a song on 5Key that is TERRIBLE like that (other than e-motion). You play like...12 notes and there's big segments of blank space where nothing really goes on. And no, it's not 5.1.1., because that sounds like a song.

I also have to say, I don't play as well on the BM US controller as I do on my KOC. The keys are too stiff on the US controller for me. It's an awesome controller, don't get me wrong, but for some reason I frick songs up while playing on it. I had to play Colors (Radio Edit) on my Japanese KOC in order to pass it.
