Wow, is this one of those ultra-hard OMES sort of things I've heard about in Distorted? (Like, this thing with the four cardinal directions and some Chineese thing?)
It also looked like the machine "studdered" a bit before the song started - these new versions must be pushing the PC-based hardware a bit. |

Im ordering my flitop pretty soon and i was wondering how the heck you get the little plactic bracket that the reset tape goes to that has has the reset and eject buttons. All the guides ive read dont say anything about the correct way to take it out and i dont wanna frick up my PS2. A friend of mine told me to just get a flathead and stick in between the bracket and case and "pop" it out...but im scared ill frick up the reset and eject buttons or something. I wish there was a video or something. The rest is completely easy I just dont know how to get that thing off. _________________

It's held on by tape, and screwed in. Just pop them out carefully and don't tear the whole thing off. Unscrew it and your all set. You honestly don't need to baby it, which most people don't realize. Just remember to shut it off first. _________________

Haha, nevermind it's the memory card slots I believe. Eh, either or don't tear the thing apart. Just go slow, and when you need to use the brute force, use it. _________________

Yeah. Seiryu is one of the mythological Four Beasts. It's the god of the east. God, he got a freaking AAA on Seiryu [a]. _________________

I'm about to get 10th style.
I'm also interested in 7th through 9th, in addition to RED when it comes out. Should I get 7th through 9th or am I covered through 10th? _________________

I'm just curious after playing BMUSA.
How, exactly, is The Shining Polaris Another a 8? _________________

Estimated as a Level 7 on Another:

@Malice (fka "Baka"): If you wanna catch up w/ all the music, I suggest w/ 8th style. But timing-wise, go w/ 9th style before you handle IIDX RED. _________________

So I should just get 8th through 10th? No 7th? _________________

I own 3rd (no 4th-6th), 7th-10th style (IIDX RED in preorder). 7th style's timing's very tight, plus the music didn't have much to my taste personally. 8th style might be a little tight in timing, but it has a very good selection of songs plus exclusives. _________________

Okidoke, I'm getting 7th through 10th, and RED on preorder.
I don't think the timing really doesn't effect me too much. I'm not that good either. _________________

Hey, I remember that song being hard for me back in the 6th style days.

Err...6th style's timing is stricter than 7th. I have much less trouble scoring on 7th compared to 6th. I like 8th's timing a little better than 7th though. e.g. I can score a little better on A on 8th than I can on 7th. Just by a little bit though. Then again I do play 8th more than I do 7th, hehe.

I think people say 6th Style has early timing. It's not harder, it just takes time to adjust to. |
