Hey people, I just got back from the knee surgen and the resuslts were not good! I didn't do any damage to my bones but I have destroyed alot of cartiliage in my knees which is causing me chronic pain. So the Dr. said NO ITG for 4 WEEKS! I almost had a heart attack right there. Well i knew somthing was up with my knees since i was having trouble passing 7's because of the pain. (i usually only play 9's and 10's) I alredy know whats going to happen when i go back for my checkup...I'm going to feel better and he's going to say to stop the dance games forever. Now for me thats not going to be possible, I have worked so frickin hard to get to 10 footers, it took me 5 months to get there! I can't just give up all my ITG skills thats impossible. But most likly im going to have to seriously cut back on the dancing games maby so much as to only playing 2 hours every other day. I don't know what im going to do. I guess i'll just have to sit there and watchc the others play frown.gif

If it makes you feel any better, I got into a car accident the 2nd week of February that totaled my car. Since then, I've been without a car and my mom doesn't trust me at all with hers (I guess I can't blame her for that). I have some money to buy a new car, but I also have to buy insurance for it, which is an extra $1600-$1800, so I don't have a lot of money to spend on the car. This means that it's been very hard to find a decent car in my price range, and using public transportation to get to an arcade with ITG around here is really complicated and time-consuming, and in some cases completely out of the question if the weather is crappy. All this adds up to me not having played ITG since the end of January. And the most insane part of of this is that I was going to play ITG when I got into the accident. >_<

I had to take a month off in december when they took my tonsils out. I started breaking doctors orders by christmas but I was playing DDR Mario Mix to stay on the safe side.

I can go pretty long without playing ITG.

I used to play ITG once or twice a week at the arcades, as it's only six or seven miles away from me. I can easily ride the train for $2.50 round trip to get there. (Train = BART, for any of you in the know.)

I haven't gone to the arcade in maybe three weeks or so.

I sort of "retired" from ITG. I don't play it anymore. I'm waiting for ITG3 to come out. I sort of got tired of ITG2.

If I don't play ITG at least once over a week's period, I get really annoyed.

I start getting withdrawl symptoms right around the 2 week mark, but my afterburner gives me short fixes, and I live off of those at the moment.

Actually, to be quite honest, it's just the same thing to me. The feeling I get from draining every ounce of stamina from my body while playing ! or Energizer is nearly addicting, you know, the dizzy lightheadedness feeling-of-accomplishment feeling.

The longer I dont play, the less ITG is on my mind, and the better I am when I get back.

Lol, since I'm done with all the 11s, 10s, and 9s, I'm probably not getting any new ones for awhile.

And I disagree, dancing games are NOT more fun.

Yes that dose make me feel better allittle bit but I would probably be happier in your position then mine because the damage to both my knees might be permanent. Hopefully not. God only gave you one pair of knees and if you hurt them even with surgery you can never be the same frown.gif No ammount of money can take that pain away.

I could quit ITG2 right now and be completely fine.

But I still prefer to go at least once every 2-3 weeks or so.

Reminds me of the guy from GameFAQs who bought ITGPS2 and a car ran over his leg before he got home.
