Hey everyone,
I have become quite enamored with IPTV shows / video podcasts and could not find any DDR or rhythm game related shows. With an interest in starting a monthly IPTV show and noting a need, would users like DDR Freak readers want to watch a monthy IPTV show about rhythm games? DDR would be the mainstay, but would also cover other related games like Beatmania, Guitar Hero, etc.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, but I wasn't sure exactly what you were talking about. I am interested in starting up a DDR and other related rhythm games video podcast / IPTV show. Just checking in to see if this is something would actually want to watch or merely for my own edification.

What would the show contain? I think there's only so much you could possibly talk about.

I am trying to drum up ideas right now to solve that exact question. A couple of users over on DDR:UK have had some great ideas and I will post them along with my own.
tips for staying healthy (drinking, eating, resting)
Tutorial / How-to / Why-oh-why would I do this?
a song of the week or something
get interviews with devs
interview the top names in stepmania step creation
interview the top names in ddr playing
hardware recommendations
mods
news
short themed comedy sketch
Games that could be covered: DDR, Guitar Hero, BeatMania and perhaps comparison with some of the DDR-esque games like Pump it up, In the Groove and StepMania.
The rough schedule would be a monthly episode clocking in at around 15-20 minutes. The shows I have seen do well have had a similar timetable.

I am in the Minneapolis, MN area. Right now, this would be a solo effort since most of my friends are not big into DDR. I have seen a number of solo IPTV shows do well and think it is doable. But any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I would love something like this. About a year ago I tried to start up a music games podcast but it never went anywhere. :/
But really, I am all for the idea. I would subscribe and watch all the time, even see what I could do about contributing some things.
