Try some of the 5Key songs for messed up timing. E10.gif It's sad that I can't raise some of my passes beyond C's because of the massive Good attack. Stop stop stop stop stop stop the violence! 'cause I'm feeling rather violent after having three times as many Goods as anything else.

Use towel or Hidden for that song. I managed to A that song. Tip on the towel: Fold it and put it on your tv half way through the screen. It'll make the song look faster than it seems.

I just wanted to point out that I now realize due to BM US that 321 Stars rules, it is such a fun and happy song! I used to always just think of it as that n00b DDR song that originally was on random BM (complete Mix 2 I think).

Does anyone know any other songs that are similar? I mean in general -- though other IIDX tunes would be nice...the only one that come to mind that is similar to being so happy/ pop-y is Linus. I have styles 3rd-9th so any songs in those games, or I'd rather regular non-bemani songs that kind of have that weird style.

Just for the heck of it, I did some research & listed the songs on BM that appeared on DDR (but really made their 1st appearance on BM)

e-motion (Ultramix 3)
Genom Screams (Konamix)
Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix) (DDR, Extreme, Max ("Another" mix))
20, November (DDR (1st verison USA got) (as "DDR Version"))
321 Stars (Extreme)
Battle Breaks (Ultramix (Songpack 3)
Overblast! (Ultramix, Max)
5.1.1 (Max)
Holic (Konamix, Max)
I Was The One (Max, Max 2)
Spin The Disk (Max, Max 2, Ultramix 3 (Songpack 13))
The Shining Polaris (Max, Max 2)
Era (nostalmix) (Max, Konamix, Ultramix (Songpack 7))
The Cube (Max)
Colors (radio edit) (Extreme 2, Ultramix (as "For Extreme"))
Fly Through The Night (Ultramix 2)
In My Eyes (Ultramix (Songpack 1))
Jelly Kiss (Ultramix 2 (Songpack 9))
Love Is Dreaminess (Ultramix 2)
Mobo*Moga (Ultramix (Songpack 4), Extreme)
Music To Your Head (Ultramix 3)
Nemesis (Ultramix (Songpack 3)
Outer Limits (Ultramix (Songpack 2)
V (Extreme, Ultramix 2 (as "For Extreme"))

That SHOULD be it....If I'm missing any, feel free to say so.

Umm I'm pretty sure there are a lot more songs than that. Probably around half of DDR comes from beatmania.

Do they not have internet ranking up or what? I want to enter my EXPERT scores but I can't find where to do it.

He's only covering the stuff that was included in beatmania US, if I understand his post correctly. (which baffles me because yes, there were more beatmania/IIDX songs that appeared in DDR that should've been included to make the game more familliar to bemani fans like me, and others.)

It'll probably never come out at this rate =/ The konami US website is a travesty anyway, so don't expect anything.

Have patience. Konami's IR takes a couple of weeks to start up after the game has been released.

There's many Pop'n Music songs that have that happy/pop-y sound that Linus and 321 Stars has (Linus originally being from Pop'n Music).

Linus was on IIDX first.

Pop'n 8 (where Linus was first on Pop'n) was released in April 02, whereas IIDX 6th Style was released in 2001.

Ha! I guess I should have looked up the dates first. I always figured that Linus was from Pop'n first since the video had Shiroro and a pop'n machine.

Well, you learn something new every day. riiight.gif

^^^I reccommend Let's Say Hello!! and bitmania as well. On another topic, I recieved 10th Style today and should Konami do the inevitable and bring out another US beatmania with the engine based on this version, something tells me that KOJ might do an overhaul on its interface again. I wish that they wouldn't though; it looks so badass! Anyways, the next US style (or mix-whatever the US sequels are gonna be called) should formally introduce all the DJs and Tran (she's an alien right?) so all the corresponding icons on the menus and such don't get messed with. The only thing that'll change is the menu's references to "10th Style". My rant's done!

-Nooooooo! Where are the original vids of Last Message and Sense 2007 for BMIIDX 14 GOLD CS?

Well, the 'V' video made it in beatmania US intact with no changes, (afaik) So we just need more songs with her in it. (Alien World would probably be a good start, or heck, Reincarnation way back in 3rd Style)

And some of the other vids have anime-inspired bits anyway, so introducing the characters would be a good idea, I think. (and while we're at it, whats-their-names from B4U, too.)

Tran is in IIDX US, I forgot which song I saw her in but I definately saw her (it was at the end of the song).

I totally forgot about Air! I need to bust out 6th+core, not only for that but also Jack and Mark, Surge Line and plenty of others.

Oh yeah another that I thought of for pop-y songs is Route 80's.
