Each song had it's own type of hard song. Like, 1st mix had PARANOiA, 3rd had the newly introduced catas/9-footers, 4th had Drop Out, and 5th had several tough catas from the older mixes. So, each mix had its own set of songs that are the toughest.

Yeah the red songs hehe. Some how Konami listed it as red. duno why.

I guess for extra stage. i dont know. Konami started doing that on ddrmax.

I dont know anything about that theme as well.

The paranoias were the king songs back in the day

Afronova was the cocky prince

and the Trip Machine's were the jealous kings on the other side of the mix

Even though we never had much access to many arcade machines from what many of my friends that have been playing for quite a long time, the only access we had to any mix that didn't have any of the maxes was when DDR: USA came out.

I was still around when DDR:USA came out but I didn't start playing until DDR: Extreme came out at our local arcade.

A lot of friends usually classified either Paranoia Rebirth or Afronova as the pre-maxes of the first generation group of ddr players in our province.

Its kind of unfortunate that only one of our players still play the dancing games continously from the original group of ddr players in our province. A lot of them from what I hear are coming out of retirement if by some miracle we get supernova in our province within the next year or two.
