My continued songlist request:
Sana Morette Ne Ente (either mix) (COME ON! It's ABOUT Beatmania!)
Drop Out (K.O.G Mix) (1/16 notes, anyone?)
Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Speed Mix)
Daikenkai
More Paranoias
Wonderland
Rhythm & Police
More DJ Taka songs
The Earth Light (Which I'll bet it'll be the editted version...)
Gradiusic Cyber
Patsenner
S.O.S (This is a DIFFERENT SONG than the one I said earlier)
Love Again Tonight
The Whistle Song (I wish!)
Prince on a Star
Say, is The Dirty of Loudness like one of the more popular BM songs? |
You know it was funny, this is kind of how I envisioned BM US to be--throw in a bunch of DDR songs. I am kind of glad they didn't but at the same time it would have been nice to see some brought over, especially if they are new to the series.
Oh and to Hlavco--totally agree about the videos, they are usually made specifically for the song...kind of like a music video (especially in later styles), unlike DDR which are a bunch of random videos. _________________

All I have to say about the Beatmania cut for this song is EW. DDR cut>Beatmania cut. _________________

I would urge Konami to follow the lead with the beatmania series as they did with DDR in bringing great independent synthpop to music games. Honestly, the relationship with adifferentdrum was one of the greatest things to happen to DDR (in my opinion) and brought us some of my most favorite songs in DDR history.... Skulk, Conflict, Close Your Eyes... Oh what I would give to be able to play many of these same artists in beatmania.
In a roundabout way, this fusion has already showed signs of happening. Midihead was exposed to Konami through the Ultramix Series and ... well lookie there in 10th style, it's his Jelly Kiss remix!
edit: i also fully support illusions idea of "army of me" by bjork in the game... what an AWESOME song that would be. _________________

Upon 2nd inspection of this thread, I see a lot of ideas have been bounced around.
Kudos to whoever requested Auto-Play. Its absence from this game is kinda strange, but I can see how it would be confusing. Without Goli arts, somebody could make FPC pics and spam scoring sites. Not fun.
Also, mad props to whoever said Maximizer should be in. After hearing it again (in a while) it sounds like a great IIDX song. Not too hard, but still sounding cool.
Having the Class mode would be great in the future. It taught me which songs I can do, which ones I cant, and its also a great way to see how you've improved. 9ths class mode is the best one ever. Copy it.
There also needs to be enough Asletics songs to have an Asletics course.

The ranking charts used in RED, Happy Sky, and Distorted would be very cool too, espicially if the new version had internet compatibility built-in to allow for real-time online ranking in the same way that E-amuse works. |

SOmeday I'll ahve to grab that game. I agree with them sticking in FUnkytown. (it's gotta be the easiest 1 in the game, right?) |
LOL that would be pretty funny...
I'd say keep 5-key mode around for at least one more mix, then decide if they want it to be permanent or not...

Hey, what about Sexy Planet (NSMM)? Guess what sounds the scratches could be! FREE SCRATCH ZONE!!
I also wouldn't mind...say....a Trip Machine &/or Max song. Although I can't imagine them being a good BM song. |

whew, for a sec I thought this thread was DOA anyway I did come up with a license I thought would be perfect for beatmania:
gettin jiggy with it / Will Smith
no I'm *not* crazy, if you've ever heard this song you'd probably agree too, as it has both a good chorus part and turntable scratches, I wouldn't mind playing it in beatmania US 2nd Style.

Not so hard on Normal mode but on Hyper it's insane! I got a lil' something to add to the wishlist. Why doesn't Konami appeal to both the Bemani fans and the Konami fans by including thier video game remix bm/IIDX songs (Twinbee, Burning Heat, Gradius-Full Speed-, etc), video game remix songs from other Bemani (Akumajou Dracula Medley, Goonies R Good Enough (qualifies as a license too, though), Gyruss-Full Tilt-), and originals that haven't been touched upon and made exclusives to the next mix (Contra, Mystical Ninja/Ganbare Goemon, Salamander/Lifeforce, Parodius, Monster in my Pocket, etc.). _________________
-The video for both Xepher and DoLL on DDR:SN are the original videos from the beatmania IIDX series. THEY'RE NOT FROM AN ANIME!!
-Nooooooo! Where are the original vids of Last Message and Sense 2007 for BMIIDX 14 GOLD CS?

Well, DistorteD has both Bloody Tears and the theme to Winning Eleven 9 (Don't ask) and I hear IIDX RED CS will have one of the songs from Suikoden V, so Konami is definetly interested in crossing over songs from their other series, here's hoping beatmania IIDX US sees some of those kinds of songs.
Although I do have an OT mini-rant: I was kinda bored so I thought I'd check the credits see if any of our favorite konami staff got their names in the credits, but I noticed GOLI's name. So its not like they couldn't use the dj artwork cause he wasn't working on beatmania US, so what gives?

I'm a BM noob (can clear 2 stars but not yet 3's). I find the easiest 7 key to be Celebration. It doesn't use the black keys. Funkytown's pretty easy too but I find Celebration easier.
Outer Limits though, yeah, not even close to being a 1. _________________
