Hey everyone, I am known as Talon, lets see, I am 23 years old, just got into DDR and am working on a book. I am currently looking to lose weight (I am at 290 ouch) and DDR has helped me lose 14 pounds already. anyways wanted to introduce myself and say hi. EDIT:My name is Billy and I have been playing DDR for a month and one week now.

I play on heavy, I can do most of them, I just passed my second 9 footer, and I can do all challenge songs. They are all 7-9 footers.

Oh yeah, I'm 13 too.

Eh, I don't have too much to brag about. I'm working my way up the 9 footers on Heavy...I've only managed to AA three songs so far. I'm currently working on passing Rhythm and Police for the first time at the arcade. I'm allllmost there. I keep failing at around the end of the song...

Hi,

I'm Beth. I'm fairly new to DDR. My friend is addicted to it and one day at the local movie theatre arcade he made me play it for my first time. I went from beginner to light mode almost right away (since I found light TOO easy), but can't do anything more difficult than... what are they called? Three-footer songs? (hopefully you know what I mean!). Shame, since my fave song on there is a 4.

Anyhoo already I'm thinking of buying a used Playstation 2 just so I can get the home version going. My mom is also interested. I have been unable to lose the 10 pounds my medication made me lose and I think this DDR would be a fun NEW attempt at dropping it!

Hello there.

My name's Carrie, I'm 15, and I've been playing DDR for around 3 years. I was first introduced to the game at my friend's birthday party where we all played MAX2. I fell in love with it, and got the game a dancepad for Christmas that year. Since then, I've practiced a lot at home, and I now also own EXTREME and EXTREME2. I can now play on Standard and Heavy (not for everything, but a lot of stuff). I play on a RedOctane Igntion 3.0 (which I love). When the arcade at my local mall moved and I realized its existence, I found out that they have two DDREXTREME machines there (they used to have ITG2 as well, but they recently got rid of it, and replaced it with one of the two DDR machines). Every time I go to the mall, I play a few rounds of DDR, and I've gotten used to a metal mat (and would love to have one at home). I love DDR because it's great exercise, and it's fun, unlike running laps or jogging on a treadmill. I've gotten a lot of my friends into DDR recently (I'm better than them though, not to brag. I've just been playing longer).
I'm by no means a master DDR player, but I have gotten quite a few A's on Heavy, and I try to play for a while everyday. Lately when I listen to music, I sometimes make up steps to it in my head. Yes, I'm obsessed.
Anyway, I'm hoping to meet some some people here who love DDR as much as I do and get some tips on how to play better. As far as what you can call me, Carrie is okay, But you can also call my Apoc or Pocky.

I won't say my REAL name, but I am fond of the nickname Riyu. ^^ I just turned 14 recently... pwnage. XD Anywaiz, I've been playing DDR for about a half-year. I started when I went to a friend's sleepover. She had a DDR, and I bought one the next day. I've been in love with it ever sense...

And I am so much in love with NAOKI. It's scary how much.

::ahem:: I, personally, think I have a lot to improve on, but I'm able to do Standard for basically any song (I'm still working on the MAXes, though... x_X) and can do Heavy for quite a few songs, mostly 7/8-footers and stuff.

Hi! I am Naoki Style.DDR, people have called me Naoki Style since I discovered DDR last June when I went with ym family tothis family fun center called MR. Biggs. Since then I have been playing one a month or so on their DDR Extreme Machine. I Absolutely LOVE Naoki (and all his many alias') on DDR and always seem to squeeze one in on every round, much to the dismay of my friends who loathe the songs. I am not very good at DDR, Still in limbo between 7 and 8 footers. But I will get there. I play mostly in Standard mode, but I am slowly creeping my way over to Heavy. I got the game for myself in December and I play every day for at least a few hours!

Long story short, I am obsessed with DDR!

I'll try to make this as Brief as possible.

I've been playing DDR for like 5 years now. Mhm.

I've been browsing this site for a good while too. I just now decided to sign up.

I am currently at a Standard/Heavy mode of playing. I can do most heavy levels. Well most as in ones without extremely irregular beats or ones that give you a heart attack and a charlie horse at once. Haha.

2 years ago, I DID THE DDR DIET. I went from 300 LBS to 200LBS! (I am 5'11) I LOST 100 POUNDS FROM DDR.

So DDR is basically my savior.

What's New? I just got DDREX2 and I'm enjoying it, I guess. Burning the calories, playing online, the whole bit. I have some gripes about the online play, but I'll get into that on another section of this lovely forum.

Okay well that's all for now. Hopefully some people will talk to me!
