Delirium on medium.
Something where that gets me going without actually focusing too much.
(randomly stepping and passing)

I played Go 60 Go [E] as my first song today

...bad idea especially since i did it barless =|

got too tired after it to do much else, so I played like Twilight or something

usually I start with something easy like a 9 or 10 with a few # of steps. 11's usually on my 3rd song. After my first or second game I usually go on to the hard stuff (12s/13s) with easier 9's/10's in between them.

Depending on how fast i want to warm up either eat your feet intense(slow warmup) tribal style(followed by another 10 and an 11,medium warmup) or pandy hard followed by another 11 and 12(for the fast warmup)

I usually do VerTex or Utopia Expert. Both are songs that look hard and aren't (relatively speaking), and they're great for getting a crowd. biggrin.gif

I have the belief that throwing yourself into something really hard SHOULD be your warmup, as in running. To warm up, you don't stretch first...you run 1 or 2 miles, and THEN stretch. I do the same on ITG. My first song is Robotix, The Beginning or Mythology, followed by something like I Think I like This Sound, Baby Don't You Wan't Me or While the Rekkid Spins, and then something with hands (Queen of Light or Break Disco).

So you play The Beginning and then stretch?

...

do you even have a clue why runners run 1 or 2 miles before stretching :\ and they don't sprint. I'm not too familiar with runners running 1-2 miles either. Maybe a half a mile.

I want to warm up, but I just don't have the time, because typically I only play 2 or 3 games in a day. So, after my "warmup", I'm pretty much done for the day already.

On days that I do have time to play for a few hours though, I would usually have a warm up game where I play a 7 or 8 (I try not to pick the same one every time, cuz I'd get bored pretty fast) on 1X no bar on 1st song for warming up my eyes for FAing, then an easy expert 9 Flip on 2nd song for fun, and a (usually mediocre) 10 on last song for muscle warming up.

I often start with Wake Up because it's one of my favorite ITG 9 footers and its name and style are fitting for a warm up.

I ususally go for an easy 10 or an easy 11. Such as Charlene, Xuxa, Vertex (hard), or something like that. For me it's better to start out with something fast that gets the blood pumpin.

The bes warm-ups are fairly easy songs that have a little of everything. While the Rekkid Spinz will get your jumps and small streams worked up while Twilight is great for rhythm and hands. I don't think doing something over 10 is a good idea for a 1st song, but that's only my opinion.

You may also want to change your warm-up song depending on what you're going for. If you're going to do easy songs and FA, then pick an EASIER song and FA it to warn up. If you're going to try and raise your score on Vertex, why not warm up with Remember December. Does that make any sense?

Any expert doubles 9. Funk Factory, Mellow, High, Xuxa and Hustle Beach are all fun.
If I'm feeling good and energetic though then my first song of the day is Determinator laugh.gif
