I am inches away from buying a used CF. That being said, does anyone know if there has been any significant updates to them recently, so that I shouldn't buy it if it was purchases before a certain date?

No, they don't change much. The only thing that Ive heard is that the older one's bases might crack if you play on thick carpet

There is a V1 and a V2. Most of the ones in the last year or so are V2s I believe. Unfortunately I cant give you an exact timeline on when the change occured.

V2s had a slight change in design lately, they are about 10 pounds heavier, and they have cut-outs on the side of the pad so it is easier to lift off of a flat surface.

^ I thought there were some V2s made without the cutouts... E19.gif Mines a 9 panel V2 and has no cutouts for the sides. I also think V2s have the Square and Triangle on the bottom buttons to the left and right of the down arrow.

And overall, buy the used CF. It was the best decision Ive ever made dancepad wise. E1.gif

Pray you dont get stuck with the MONSTEROUS BOX though. laugh.gif
