I believe everything is done with a keyboard synthesizer.
As for which setting, I'd have to play around with the keyboard a bit to figure that out. |

It is a koto (kindof a floor harp).
Of course in the case of Sakura and Tsugaru, it's actually a synthesizer with a koto sound _________________

Sakura has four different Japanese instruments in it (IIRC):
- Koto
- Shamisen
- Japanese Woodblock
- Bamboo Flute _________________
