Does anyone have RipTide's videos that you can send me? I'm going to start building my pad soon and want to have a rough idea of what I should do. |

Here are all 5 of his videos. It's funny that you mention this cause I am actually in the process of building my metal pad and I'm using these videos. They really help. They are missing parts in the videos (and some of them are very important ), but I'm sure you can figure those out for your self ( I did). I am changing his design by just a little bit cause I'm adding a bar to the back, so I pretty much just got a little more plywood and sheet metal than what he said to get. And I'm gonna put lights in each panel, but that really doesnt change his design. 1 more thing; people say that you should put some support in the middle too ( unlike his design), so you might want to but some of your extra wood in the middle of each panel or something. Well, I'm already done with the base, and everythings been going great, so have fun _________________

THANK YOU SO MUCH
I went to home depot today, I bought everything on his material list except for 22 gauge sheet metal because I couldn't find it anywhere. Do you think it's alright to substitue it with 16 gauge or 26 gauge?
Also, I couldn't find 1/2" thick weatherstripping, so i got 7/16 and 9/16, I hope that's ok |

Yeah, 16 or 26 guage will work fine. It doesnt really matter cause you are just gonna wrap it aroung the solid panels. _________________
