I am in the process of building a metal pad. I was wondering if .22 or .23 inch acrylic will be strong enough for me? I play up to itg 13s and I sometimes like to stomp. But I am only like 113 lbs. Do you think it will be plenty strong? Thanx alot E1.gif

It definitely should...I used two 0.09 inch pieces stacked (so I could sandwich a graphic between). My 190 lb friend stomps like a whore and its held up well.

If you really want to be safe, have some support under the center of the arrow as well; not just the sides.

Alright. But I'm gonna have a light in the middle of each panel E19.gif ... But it probably wont be too big of a light so I'm sure I can throw some extra wood or something around the light E7.gif

I used 2 pieces of what I think were 3/16" Lexan, and that stuff was in no danger of breaking at all (~185 lbs with no weight reducers like bars or chairs).

Yeah, but how much did the 2 pieces of lexan cost you?

Alright. I got enough lexan to have two layers of it per arrow so I can sandwich my graphics. The lexan is only.093 in per piece, so each arrow will have .186" thick of lexan. Don't you think that will be fine if I have some sort of support in the middle??? The tx pads use .125" for each arrow, and that's crappy acrylic.

Also, it says "expose unprinted side to sunlight. What does that mean?

Yeah, I got like one sheet of it (something like 44x11") for like $40 or so, and had some left over. The thing about the sunlight is for if you're using it what they think you are, which is installing it in windows. I don't know the magic behind it, but that's just the way light goes in better, I guess, or something.
