I currently have this pad:
Well, I can't find it on gamestop, but it was a Mad Catz Beat Pad Pro(Got it on sale for $20)

I'm ordering this pad:
http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/4985/VG-DRXT2-DX01/
Yeah...I don't have DDREX2 yet, only MAX2.

So, will this pad get me to the heavies.....I'm currently a AA Light-er, and can currently D(C on The Whistle Song, Days Go By) on Standard songs(That are under 170 bps, and aren't 8th note whores). So, yeah I have to be the worse 12 year old player ever.....more like worst player period....

So, back on topic: Does it hold true to its ">Ignition 2.5&3.0?"

Maybe I'll get a Cobalt Flux when I have the budget....

id wait for the CF, or if you really want, build your own ddr machine...like me nerd.gif www.angelfire.com/falcon/jdp/DDR/ddrcab2.html

the ignition style pads are great for a while, but ALL, i mean, ALL soft pads (and even metal i bet) pads WILL wear out

its just a matter of time...if you can wait for a CF, do it
my friend had an ignition for a year (played heavy, a few times a week) and it just messed up

now, if you wanted, you could always get the ignition style pads
course if you have the money, get them both E4.gif

That's a great pad, IMO. I've had two for several years, still in nearly perfect condition (mild use). I'm not the greatest DDR player, but I've passed several 9 footers on them.

Congrats on A Little Bit of Ecstasy biggrin.gif . I don't know why every one hates that song. I think it has fun heavy steps. disgust.gif . Well, enjoy your pad! ( I know you will) E1.gif

omg...the BNS...TRY NOT TO GET IT. I got one three weeks ago, played it like 2 hours everyday, and kept it in good condition. It was excellent, but it just crapped out on me today. The buttons won't respond 50% of the time.

edit: I managed to replace it and I'll report on how my new one works. Great customer service from BNS though......

Ehh, I wouldve stuck it out with the pad you had for a little and gotten a CF after you saved up.

But what do I know, I'm taking that route, and I still have my $20 Konami softpad. (Which works decently even on 10 footers)

Eh, I hear Metal Pads vibrate REAL bad, and I cna't play at night with my current pad. With a CF, I'll get yelled at during the day. My pad is coming tommorow.

I'm really happy with my pad, it doesn't move as much as my past pad*well, the front is stuck under my dresser, I have like no room in my room, and I can't paly downstairs as it is hooked up in my room). No vibrations, so I cna play at night, and the game is awseom too.

Shake that thing Miss Kana Kana....

I remeber that song from the radio a year or two ago....
