Hmm as far as I know Canon-D on Nightmare... might be something else now that PIU Zero is out... but I doubt they could have made something worst than that without causeing a heart attack for someone....

No, on Zero it is said that Extravaganza's Another Crazy and Another Nightmare are the hardest stepcharts in the game. But I haven't tried them for myself.

Now that I've gotten down to playing Zero, I tried all the various modes. My impressions:

Easy Station: Played it once just to see it, not too bad if you're a n00b.
Arcade Station: Thank GOD for playing different difficulties on vs. 2P.
Mission Station: Hella hard. I couldn't even beat Mission 1, largely because I suck so bad at mods (sup Vanish).
Remix Station: Like the new Remixes, K-Hip-Hop's my new favorite. LIADZ Try To BPM is insane, even on Hard.

Good stuff. Love this mix.

Now if I could just find a cheaper place to play.

I found a pump it up zero in missouri and he Easy station mode works great, only because these kids have never seen one before. Within 2 days, I saw the same kids playing normal, but it seems easier than the eariler versions.

What's the game costing for evryone else?

I'm finally able to read 7's on pump. My feet can still get severely tangled but if I CIU instead of PIU I can get A's on them. Now when I PIU them I'll either get A's or B's or F them.

I guess the Can Can is actually in sight! I tried that the other day CIU and I was totally owned. The controller buttons click poorly at really high speeds so I'll have to PIU that one in about a year...

Is there a FAQ on how to unlock all of PIU Exceed for PS2? I've unlocked video mode and am in the process of passing all the arcade songs, and have unlocked several from Survival Mode and am on the way with unlocking a lot of home mode. I've turned off the life bar in Arcade and I generally make it 2x. I have to agree pump is easier to read with speed mods and because the icons are colour coded not quite as much thought is required to process them.

It's just that many of the videos aren't kid friendly. Right now my son's only 8 months so he wouldn't care yet but I feel I will need to turn off videos after he begins to speak.

I want to fully unlock my PIU Exceed game for PS2. I realize Sudden Death Mode is where you unlock many Arcade songs and Arcade where you unlock many Home songs and Home where you unlock a few Arcade songs.

Videos are unlocked by playing and passing (or finishing?) a song in whatever mode (I think).

Is there a FAQ for this so I know when it's all done?

(probably won't be a while, I can't clear Can Can (can barely read it to tell the truth, even with speed mods))

ive sorta always been DDR loyalist anti-piu, but i finally decided to see what it was about and tried PREX at the arcade. Which although the mix kinda sucked, i thought the game it self was very good. Anyhow, i recently went up to eb games and stumbled upon PIU: Exceed with the pad for a mere $30!! WHAT A FRIGGIN STEAL!! so i got home and i have to say, everything about PIU exceed "exceeded"(you know thats hilarious) my expectations. I've been playing it quite a bit and i got it 2 days ago, and i can already play almost all the hard songs and a good amount of crazy songs! ITS AWESOME!! and although i prefer DDRs songs list, this does have BoA. Does DDR have BoA? No, DDR doesn't have BoA. And its one of the best BoA songs. I wish it had more BoA songs. I love BoA.

I wonder if Konami would be willing to put someone like Sowelu or ZONE in the next DDR game. Sowelu, a song like NO LIMIT would work well. I love sowelu, and DDR needs some good old licenced j-pop. Although i also love riyu kosaka. and beforu. It's just, thats super-duper cotten candy happy fun j-pop(expecially beforu, true is an amazingly deep song)

I've moved up to 9's using the controller and 7's using the pad. Can Can's in sight! A goal is to clear Can Can in Sudden Death Mode.

I've unlocked Survival Mode. Exactly how much stuff is there to unlock in this game?

Hey Guys

I just received Pump it Up Exceed for PS2 from eBay today and I have to say I'm loving it. I've been playing DDR for about 6 months now and can pass every 9 consistently. I'm kind of lost when it comes to PIU's interface and unlock modes, so can anyone give me a guide as to where I should go from here?

I can usually beat '6' songs on hard already, but I'm still having trouble adjusting. Also, does playing a 200BPM song on 3x scroll just as fast as a 90BPM song on 3x? I'm not sure if it's just me, but even the fastest songs on 2x are hard to read, but 3x seems to work alright for me.
