Guide: How to unpack ITG ps2 disk

AFAIK the Way the ITG Theme works is far different to the Way other themes work.

You really would need a "Theme Specialist" to get this working.

Did you also convert all Theme Images to PNG?

Since the ITGPS2 theme and the ITG2 AC theme are very similor, and since the ITG2AC theme has been made for Stepmania, could one not just switch the 2 themes, or replace a couple files so the colors match itg2...

If I remember correctly, you sais something like songs work properly now. Are they in sync with the steps? Have they been able to be played in normal dance mode yet? maybe try replacing the songs from ITG with other songs and stepfiles, but keep everything else the same.

as far as i can tell, some features are hardcoded in the ELF File itself,
hacking the ELF File itself is far far beyond the main goal of this project.

the main goal is to add own songs.

Now you cannot only do that, but also add/change courses,
hence you could even drop out all existing ITG songs, and fill in own Songs until the single Layer DVD is Full (~4 GB)

What I will do in addition to the actual knowledge, is a discourse on what files are in whick PCK file, so you even are able to change stuff inside the original PCK file, repack and use it in the original packed way.
But don't expect this to be happen soon.

The hardest Step is now done,
and the Toolset might get released soon, maybe then others jump in and contribute.

still some things to work on:
- BG Movies (and therefore an in depth analysis of the .av format)
- Theme Changes and maybe the support of Rolls

I will talk to the Developper about a possible Release soon.
I only know he is very busy these days with other things, to prepare a Quality Release.

hi,

i am sorry for posting dates we could not hold!

the developer has a hard time at the moment with his main job,
working 14 hrs+ a day.

In the Meantime I have fully converted Albumix I-III.
IV conversion is in the Works,
and as far as I know, Kalek is working on a Full 135 Song Conversion of DDR Extreme AC.

Besides the missing release, this is great news.

we do not want to release anything in beta status.

Please be patient.
Real Life has catched the Developper,
this is the only reason for a release pending.

With aworkload of 90 Hours+ a week, it is nearly impossible for him,
to work on.

This situation will not be forever, just for some weeks,
so please stay patient, and stop distributing stuff from us, which are NOT meant to be public! Please!

this could be some misinterpreting in some way by me,
as the person just did upload these documents on free webspace only for me,
so i may have offended this person in some way, for which i am sorry,
and i already wrote him.

what really does worry me, is that i have not got any response from "some" people, which i really need to clarify this situation.

some people do have "stuff" which they are not intended to have.

all i want is to hear the true story.

i am not going to bite off someones head,
but please be honest to me.

I realized that my estimate of 1.42GB for my song collection included background videos, and I was wondering, will it be possible to add your own BGvideos to the hack?
