My family does not have a clue about the ddr games but myself and my husband. Just recently I asked my cousin about ddr @ home or arcade. My cusin said "I have not been to the arcade and the dancing game sounds like fun". Problebly because she haven't thought about going to the arcade and does not have that many friends knowing ddr games. And she has a child to take care of. I discoverd ddr game when one day my husband & I went to ryan amusements before we left boston ma in 2002?. Live in Va now. 3 years later, we walked into the arcade and got hooked into ddr games in year 2005 (All this time I wasted) now got it on ps2. "THANKS KONAMI" it's been fun. E1.gif

Who ever don't know about ddr games. I'll spread the word. E7.gif

The only person in my nuclear family that plays DDR is my younger sister. I wouldn't know about the rest of my family, they're scattered all over the world. Most of them are in South Korea, and a few of them are in China, and the USA (I'm a Canadian citizen, by the way).

Anyways, I'm the DDR enthusiast who plays Heavy, tries to get better at it, and obssesses over Cobalt Fluxes.

My sister is the Light-Mode playing bar rapist.

Nobody in my direct family plays, but an older cousin of mine (19), who got me interested in the game, is up to 8 footers.

2 (out of 6) of my younger siblings play DDR. One 13 one 7 (i think)
13yr old one is on 4 footers, 7yr old is on about 2-3. Im training my 7yr brother in DDR cos he would be so cool to be AAAing heavy songs at the arcade!
I think 13yr brother only likes to play it because theres NOTHIGN else for him to do whilst im on the PC on Stepmania so he joins in. Hes obsessed with Americas Army its so annoying.

Whenever my cousins (5 and 7 years old) come over they always want to play DDR...the youngest one is actually pretty good.

My 14 year old sister plays from time to time (standard) when the mood strikes her and my mom has actually played at the arcade with me when nobody else was around lol.

Nobody in my family plays DDR/ITG except for me. In fact my entire family thinks its a waste of time for me to go to the arcade to play a video game, and they kind of look down upon me because of it.

I personally couldn't care less, and I can't argue with the results, I've lost 45 pounds due to playing the game and I haven't changed my eating habits, I still eat as much junk food as I did when I first started playing the game.

I've tried to get my three little nieces into the game, but to no avail it doesn't seem like they're interested ay all.

I have a wonderful gf, thats is making her way up to heavy mode, and she plays the game as well. I kind of got her into the game and I really wouldn't be surprised, if she surpasses me one of those days.

People in my family who play? Not that I know of.

But family secrets get out eventually and maybe one of my younger cousins picked it up somewhere. If not, I'll convert em. You can be sure of it.

My littler cousins (ages 9 and 11) can do light threes and fours.

My mom (age 49) can do heavy sixes and easy heavy sevens.

I (not givin' my age) can do nines and Sakura Heavy.

My dad (52) thinks we're all insane and his pride has kept him from ever playing. ['Cept that once when he played on beginner, spent too much time dancing and too little time... dancing.]
