The Fly is...uh...I dunno.

I always assumed it was metaphorical to the immediate challenge (surviving the stepchart) that the song is singing about. The Fly...as in the flight, as in the progression, through a course of obstacles.

Probably not, though...but I don't really care, since that's the way it seems to me and there isn't any true explanation of it to begin with. I guess the term's vagueness never bugged me since I just went with my own conclusion.

I don't know what the LOM "The Fly" or whatever sample is exactly, but it is part of a vocal sample set that was also used in the song Boundry by Sparker/Slake in IIDX 10th Style. I do know that the other parts of the sample set are "The Birth", "The Age" and "The Death". So maybe it relates to life.
