Background Videos on SM on Mac OS X

well, ive been playing StepMania a lot lately, and i kinda miss those background videos from ddr. So i downloaded them on my PC with the tools and exporter thing, but the quality sucks because my video card blows so i wanna get them on my mac(I have a nice video card on it, ATI radeon 9000 128 MB, not bad), but i cant figure out how to. Does anyone know how to, or am I the only one who uses a mac?

I'm a fellow SM and Mac user. And I feel your pain about playing .avi files. However, I bring forth a solution that might end your woes...

The program is called Flip4Mac, and it will add support for .avi and windows media files to Quicktime. Hope that helps.

If not, browse mac.softpedia.com , www.macupdate.com , or http://b00tix.com/~pablo/ for something that might work.

i dont need that(but it is nice software BTW) but that whole tools and editor deal you get when you install stepmania on PC. The one you use to upload themes and bg videos and announcers. How do i do that on my lovely mac.

Stepmania looks lovely on my 20 in apple widescreen moniter tho!!

Rename the .smzip to .zip and use the regular unpacker or stuffit expander.

yeah i know that, but whenever i try to upload themes or BGs, it just goes black for the video and the theme stays the 3.9 theme. Do you think i should just try to reinstall stepmania and see if that works, or is there something im doing wrong?
