I'm new here, so sorry if my forum's not in the right place or if I shouldn't be posting something like this, but I've been looking for a metal pad for awhile now, and I found a few I'm interested in. The only problem is that I'm a pretty light player, about 90 lbs. I was wondering if metal pads might have trouble registering steps considering I don't step on panels hard and I already don't weigh much.

Thanks!

I've found that RedOctane's Afterburner registers even the lightest touches (I almost always play with socks on). I weigh about 120 lbs and have had no problem so far with my Afterburner registering. If some of your friends have metal pads, maybe you should test out theirs and find which one works best for you. Hope I helped E4.gif

TX pads will register very well. Tx1000s suck. Get a tx4000 E1.gif

The most sensitive pad is propabley cobalt flux. If you are rich, get it. Otherwise stay in afterburner or tx4000

The Cobalt Flux is super sensitive. I'm used to literally slapping the arcade panels for hands and for the CF I just had to touch my fingertips to it.

Truely awesome.

Thanks, everyone. I'm glad to know that these pads will work with someone like me. And, thanks for the suggestions. I'll go look up these pads on their designated threads.
