3) Is the trio linker plus the best one for the cobalt flux?

2) It is really only useful for really competitive play in my opinion. You can probably get by without it. The only reason I really got it was to make my pad look more like and arcade pad.

I'm getting a cobalt flux so I can work my way up to heavy so I dont look like an idiot at the arcade, and to exercise.
So, is it advisable still to get an arcade mod?
Only the black one is available to me though, I live in the UK and CF EU only sell the black arcade mod.
Also,
Jupichan said I could ask them to include the old panels too, does anyone know if CF EU allows that?
A link to the site is http://www.positivegaming.com/cobaltfluxeurope/.
There might be something I'm missing.
Also, how involving is the installation for the CF? Is it just unscrewing stuff, sliding stuff in then screwing it all back together with new screws? |

my company had just bought 2 cf's for our arcade and they were a disaster. I have no idea what kind of model they were but they had only 4 screws and coasted 200$ each. Alot of times the sensors dont even read your steps and somtimes an arrow gets jammed, we have tried switching many control boxes too.....but if the foil is kinda scrunched up would that effect the pad in any way? |

I don't think those were CFs, dear. |

CF's have 36 screws holding the 9 panels on (4 for each panel). They are Galvanized sheet metal, not any sort of foil. And they most certainly do not cost only $200. You guys probably got TX-n000's or some other knock off. _________________

Ordered mine today and an Xbox converter also.
Unfortunately my junk Gamestop pad has a dead arrow after an hour of play so I need to find another pad to play with in the meantime. Hopefully Best Buy has something I can buy and return within 30 days. |

I made some Cobalt Flux decals that i'd like to share with you guys! I'm not going to say they're completely original because i copied very closely off one on the Cobalt Flux website, but I can guarantee they are better quality. All made in illustrator cs2, cmyk, 600dpi, 6300x6300 pixels (instead of the crappy 72). Also included are 7 different center decals (couldn't decide which to delete lol). Well, comments are appreciated.

Sence my homebuilt pad does not work I was thinking about getting a CF but I have some questions.
1.Should I get the arcade style mod kit? I think I will just because I want it to look and feel like the arcade.
2.If I order a CF and a arcade mod kit and they install it when they build it, can I ask them to include the extra lexan pannals incase I want to take it off? |

Im waiting for my AM to be shipped so I cant answer the first question, but for #2, in the special instructions box, write "Please include reverse modkit" and you shouldn't have a problem. _________________

Has anyone ever had their CF break? If so, how long did you have it? _________________

I heard it will only physical break if you don't make a base-mod if you are doing to be playing on thick carpet. Other wise it will almost never break. Heck, it can stand a SUV! The control box is usally the only issue most people have and if you don't clean you pad every once in a while. _________________

That might not even be the case anymore, as CF recently changed their base design. Its about 10 pounds heavier, and it has cut-outs on the side for easy lifting on flat surfaces. I was one of the first to get one of the newer models. _________________

I got the new one before you.
But if I play DDR at all tomorrow, I'll be sure to take a picture or two of the pad for all who wish to view it.
Now if only my ankle would stop hurting... |
