If it's something this big and at the Mall of America, I think it's okay to put it here.

I've never played any of those freestyle songs, so I guess that counts me out.

DDR_kid, those are all new Zero songs. We will be adding older songs to the list very soon. We are also toying with the idea of allowing all the freestyle songs so check back periodically to see if the rules have been edited.

This'll sound silly, but about the no-bar touch rule...

Problem is, if pads are even a little slippery, I generally lose balance, even on easier songs (I've already fallen on my @$$ pretty hard on even jumps, smacked my head on the bar also as a result of falling). Will this rule change, because it seems a little harsh.

That rule won't change. It's a rule that is used in the WPF and works very well. With no-bar tournaments, rules have to be set in place in the case someone doesn't follow the rule. Pads are always thoroughly cleaned before tournaments.

btw, I think I'll be meeting you in Chicago. We should chat online sometime.

But remember, the tourney's game version will be Zero, so if you're not already familiar with Zero, you should check to ensure your desired FS song is still on this version. Check the www.piugame.com website for the complete Zero songlist.

And remember, there's no Hard Division for this tourney.....just Crazy and Freestyle.

I hear lots of the Chicago and Indiana players are talking about trekking up.

Yea, well, I don't have to look at the songlist to know Don't Bother Me is on Zero. It would be dumb not to have it....

Yes, foreigners can come and compete, since this tournament will not decide USA players for WPF.

Are you coming all the way from Brazil ? E15.gif
