One is ground the other is down, the ground will be the one that connects to all the buttons. Hope that helps. |

okay that helps and someone told me i could just rip the control box from my soft pad that came bundled with ex2 and just re-wire that
which one is easier
to a controller
or a soft pad

I think the softpad one would be easier. |

softpads are waaaaay easier to rewire...
just gut the soft pad..not like anyone uses those things anymore
but ya, the center part on the softpad circuit board is the ground, then the rest your gonna have to test out (use a spare piece of wire to complete the circuit to each of the leads)
thats what i did on mine _________________

This might be a little off subject but I have a question. I have a crappy tx1000 control box. Could I just cut the 2 cables leading into the control box, and then connect them with no control box in between?
but then again, it might suck to have no start or select button _________________

well, i would say try and find out, BUT
im pretty sure if you do that you got yourself a nice, crappy TX-1000 (lol sorry) that wont do anything
ill check it out on my friends pad that broke in 9 days...
DO NOT CUT THE WIRES, i think the circuit board is in the cbox..so NONONONONO cut _________________
