I dont see anyone posting a score of A or better on this here...

Actually, I want to see that... and since you say that MOST can do it, I would like a link, screen names and such to this vast majority that you speak of.

I'm not saying I'm the best at it, but If you say the amount is as great as you say, I would like at least a little proof.

and just in case you read it wrong, its red sign, not red zone.

I have heard of one person passing it and he got an A.

oh, and to preface this further, I did this 100% [1.0x] (none of that 90% or below). I played it as it is, as it was created. So if you claim there are that many people out there that can accomplish this with an A or better, please, by all means educate me - show me - humble me.

and the person I heard of getting an A on it or better probably was Nima.

go into the stepmaniaonline forums, everyones good there, nima AA'd it with 10nc's i have the pic but i dont like posting other peoples scores so pm me if you really want to see it. theres not many good players here. and when you said you did it 1.0x did you mean rate or speed, cause that would be amazing to pass it 1x.

Oh yeah I sifted through the top 20 and people they battled, I saw a few impressive players but nothing that made me jump outta my chair and say OMG lol.

I did see two really good players there other than nima.

the top 20 arent always the best, just the best that play all the time. i think red sign would be close to impossible on 1.3x rate.

sylum: its not amazing, but for 6 months i'd say its pretty good. work on you're timing tho. assuming you play on 4 judge, play on 6 judge for a few days or a week, then go back to 4. it helps alot

Just lastnight I got my first AA. I guess it's not a big deal but I was excited! I started playing at an arcade last july and got a home pad to play stepmania about 2 months ago. So... I dont know if I'm doing well or not for that amount of time =x Oh yeah, this is on stepmania's judge difficulty of 5 on a metal pad. I was able to AA Cutie Chaser(Morning Mix), 1998, and While Tha Record Spins (from ITG) just after that.

These are old crappy records. I could do so much better.

And if you are wondering why the images are so blurry, it is because my computer doen't run stepmania well, so I turned the resolution down to the lowest setting.
(All records of mine are according to the "arcade" timing windows.):
