There's no such thing as a upgrade to your existing DDR Extreme at this present time. You'd have to buy an entirely new machine.
Also, if you are interested in actually purchasing the newer verison of one of them, your best bet is to ask the people who currently play the machine in your arcade, not a public forum encompassing the entire world. What happens if people in Alaska reply and you subject your judgement to an area no where near you? This forum is too general for this question.
