is it possible to get the regular bgs instead of that stupid character dancing in the bg? That gets really annoying.

Actually they fixed the dancer thing. It doesn't fly all over the screen now, but it actually dances on the 3D background objects properly, to the song =)

1.) Err...how would I turn them off? (Don't say go into options, I thought of that.

2.) Them dancing all over the screen is just as stupid, it's just like all the other DDRs with chars.

3.) And if I don't want to play songs with FMVs? Suppose I want to play songs like Fascination MaxX or Tsugaru that don't have FMVs? Do0 their default vids still play, or do the damn charactes go?

It seems like some of you don't get the point.

As much as I would love for each song to go EXTREME 2 and get a unique video for each song, this is 300+ songs we're talking about.

I'm sure Konami is just flat-out burned out from just thinking up new graphics.

I say don't expect any random videos like in the past.

but they don't all need new videos. they should just reuse the videos for songs that have been on other mixes, and there gonna use the IIDX videos for the beatmania crossovers, so that only leaves the 100% bran new songs. (it's not like there's gonna be 50 bran new songs)

You don't just "clean-up" pixelation. They have to take the work files they did to compile the movie and re-render the full footage all over again. Do you think Konami is going to spend all that time with old videos everyone has seen for the last 4 years?

Actually everything has new, more distracting videos Though some bemani crossovers had video's survive, such as DoLL and a few other IIDX things (unfortunately not Xepher's awesome video)

As far as I could tell, its typical arcade where you cannot do a thing about the BGA. You have to just deal with it I'm afraid =/

I hope you can turn on BGs. That charicter dancing around in the background dosen't look very exciting at all. I'd miss the old backgrounds.

Well I came back when I got a new Ignition 3.0 today and found that it was broken. I wanted to see if someone would help, which they didn't.
