I highlight everything like you said, hit copy, and when you come to the internet, paste doesnt come up as an option when i right click, so either im taking your word to literally or, you didnt explain it well enough, i personally think its a little of both.

I've been using Stepmania for about six months now, and I'm new to creating stepfiles (and new to the forums). Stependous looks awesome, but I'm running Mac. Anyone know of anything out there that'll help me out with BPM and offset?

I encountered a really weird problem making a simfile lately. Once it gets to the end of the chart in game mode, it just sits there. I have to hit Escape to get out.

I've deleted all charts except my Heavy one, which, if I push End in the editor, takes me right to the end of the long freeze at the end. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

This is a really dumb question, but where is the Record Button?! And when you push it does it make it so the song plays and you just push the keys to put arrows in the song?

What is wrong with making steps with the Stepmania step editor? i've made around 50 that way and they all work flawlessly.

P.S. I tried to submit a simfile to a site and ran across a problem, how do I make a whole folder of files into one file.

In other words, how can I make a specific song folder into a zip file so I can submit my edits?

I really owuld appreciate the help because I firmly believe people would like my edits.

Download and install Winzip or Winrar. Once you have done that, right click on the folder you want to create a zip for and select the option "add to zip file". This will then create a zip file for the folder you have chosen.

n00bish question, i know but how do you create steps with notepad. Up until now, i have been using record and when i submit them to bemanistyle and ffr people say they are crap-buttocks so can someone plz give me a link to a FAQ or just tll me how to do it thx

You know how in Tsupseudogamush, arrows and mines constantly appear and dissapear? I know it has something to do with speed changes...but how do I do it?

Negative BPMs can make arrows disappear and put you at a later part in the chart, I think.

I did some experementing and found that to be true. But making it jump to where you want it to is really haaaard, so can anyone tell me a good way to do this without constantly changing the netagive bpm until I get it perfect? Also, I noticed that when you do that, the arrows scroll backwards very slowly. What can I do to make them continue scrolling at the bpm they were scrolling at before the jump?
