everyone hated the Dreamcast

Speak for yourself, and not for the million or so people who love the dreamcast.

If you like tetris, try doom 95(tnt wad of course) it is posible with a flux if you activate r1 and set it to shoot, with x as open door, o as strafe, delta as wepon up and square as weapon down.

hard as hell but hella fun

Perhaps this will sound like sacrilege but do you know of anyone using a dance pad with other games? I was thinking it could be used with something like Pac Man or perhaps a downhill skiing game. I’m just looking for new stuff. Any ideas would be appreciated

it's highly unrecommended, but it's probably possible to play fighting games with a dance pad lol

Actually, before DDR was even thought of, Nintendo had the first jump at it with ,i think, only one game with it,Track and Field. Didnt go well, but now its popular with DDR. But it happened to another game console I know of. The Dreamcast had online capabilities and a headset option, but everyone hated the Dreamcast and the PS2 picked it up. Same concept, different accessories.

There were actually about 10 games that worked with the Power Pad (Which is what you're thinking of). Two interesting notes: The first is that there was actually a game for it called Dance Aerobics. I don't know exactly how it played, but I think it very well could have been a sort of precursor to DDR. The second is that, strangely, I'm pretty sure NEITHER Track & Field NES game works with it (There's a game for it called World Class Track Meet, which may be what you're thinking of).

I tried playing FFX with a dance pad.

It was amusing. I still sucked at the game, though.

Seeing that my pad only has an X and O button along with the select start and the 4 arrows, I can't play most games. I tried to play Crash Bandicoot 1 because X, O, and the directions are all you need to play it, but it became a game of twister when you had to jump diagonally. (2 directions +X if you can picture it.)

So yeah, I only got to L3 on dance pad

it took me like, 10 days to beat the whole game, which usually takes about 2 hours. there was this really annoying part where you had to run and catch a chicken. you can only run right, left, up, and down, and the chicken runs in all directions, soo it took like 2 days. also try tekken volleyball, quite interesting.

p.s. i love dreamcast
