Hi, what are the solder points on a official psx controller? Here is a not so good pic of one:

What do I solder the wires to? And do I need to take the black stuff off?

Please learn how to use a camera nono.gif That picture is about as useful a reference to a PSX controller as this is:

Seriously, don't use an official PSX controller to solder to... it is nigh on impossible to do anything with and just a waste of time frown.gif Go get a cheap third part controller, theres a chance the solder points will be marked out on it, and you will actually be able to use it for something.

What wrong with a sony psx controller? I found out what connecters do what. I'll just take the black stuff off with some sandpaper.

No offense but you do that and you have wasted a PSX controller. They are useless for modding.

I won't use it if it won't work, I'll just go to gamestop and get a $5 gampad.
