I need an opinion on which metal pad to buy. So far i have 3 different pads in minds. The cobalt flux and blueshark all seem to be really good but they are really expensive ($300) and i live in canada so there is like an extra $100 added onto that. I want to buy a tx/ninja pad because they are cheaper but i do not know how good the sensitivity and quality is. My last option is to buy a pad from game enhancer because it's based in canada which makes it cheaper but i heard that you can't really trust the material form taht website. i need help on deciding which pad to get.

Go with the Flux, even with the expense it's the last dance pad you'll ever need. E13.gif

Ninja metal pad is ok. or you can buy a afterburner from redoctane.

If you do not mind modify little bit get a TX 1000 that is the cheapest metal pad on the market or you can go to mymybox.com website and buy a solomode metal pad (mt6). you can disassemble it and fix it yourself where you can not fix it with other metal pad. There are pros and cons among the several metal pads.

You can buy a metal pad at the lowest price from ebay.

or go to http://www.redoctane.com/redoctanemetalpad.html

http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmx1100.html (this is old redoctane metal pad style) or http://www.mymybox.com/ddrmt6.html

Don't you hate tring to decide which pad to get? I went from wanting a txhybrid w/ bar to a tx6000 to 2 txhybrids to t tx000s to an afterburner to a txhybrid w/bar to a homebuilt and finnally to a txhybrid w/bar (yes, money was...IS an issue) Anyways,I would say go for the ninja. Im gonna get the ninja w/ bar soon ( I know, the bars supposedly r weak, but I am 100 lbs, my friend can weld E13.gif , AND ill probably support it with my futon or chair. From what I know they r much better than the tx1000s (better construction, larger circut board censors, better control box, I'm not sure on the soldering, but that is PROBABLY better, ect). You still might have to fix it a bit, but I think u will enjoy it. Heck, If u play doubles, u can get 2 txhybrids for 200$ on ebay) I have a tx1000 now and it's a good sensitivity, it's just poor quality to say the least. But the newer ones r better. Seriously, you can make your pad last as long as you want as long as you take good care of it and fix what needs to be fixed. i'd say dont go for a cf or blueshark. The cf is expensive, you cant tell where you r on the pad, and it's not any more sensitive than my tx (actually i think my tx has better sensitivity). But the cf is VERY reliable and sturdy, but you can make your tx the same way. The blueshark is very expensive and Ive heard many complaints and problems with that pad for the money.

thanks for all the suggestions so far guys.
After thinking about it i'm probably going to go with the ninja or afterburner
Before i do that though i'm gonna try to mod my soft pads first.
I can't access the CF buy page so i can't find out how much they charge for shipping.
If i do buy a metal pad it's probably gonna be from ebay cause the shipping is the cheapest.
Afterburner after shipping is almost $300US, convert that to canadian and poopy man.
I was thinking of tx 4000 but it dosn't look as good as the ninja. is there a big difference between those pads?

If you're gonna get the TX4000, you might as well invest the extra $20 and go for the TX6000 with the bar.

But what does anybody think of the MMB MX2200? Is it crap like the MX1100, or is it a reasonable compromise if you can't afford a Blueshark or a CF?

Ninja pads are TX1501 pads. If they have bar, then they are TX2501 pads. The only difference between TX1501 and TX4000 is the arrows. TX4000 uses metal covered arrows and TX1501 uses plastick (dont know how well they will last). According to my opinion: metal is stronger than plastick.

So if you are comparing ninja pad(which is tx1501) and tx4000, the better one is tx4000. It costs slightly more(+10$), but atleast I am happy with it.

And heres a hint: do not chose your pad by its looks

In the thread that says, "READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST HERE":

If you're trying to choose between two or more pads, then post IN THE THREADS FOR THOSE PADS. Do NOT make a new thread for this.

DO NOT POST A "WHICH PAD IS THE BEST?" THREAD.
If you really want to know, do some research. You'll narrow it down pretty quickly. Do *NOT* post a thread asking for information that you could have easily found by looking - why should anyone else exert effort on your behalf when you were too lazy to find out yourself?
