Wow! Is there anybody who doesn't have "Anything by Dax" on their list of least favorite ITG songs? Are they really THAT bad? _________________

I don't find them that bad at all. Well, Dreams of Passion is actually a pretty bad song, but thats kinda why i like it.... it cracks me up. _________________

Me. "You're Not Worth the Paper" is not terrible, but it isn't great. The steps don't exactly redeem it either. However, I can't stand "Dreams of Passion" at all.
EDIT: On second thought, "Dreams of Passion" is probably made worse by the fact that it is a slow, low-energy song on a fast, high-energy game...
I find that I seem to prefer songs with expert steps. I think it is because the Expert-level steps in ITG really involve the player in the music. That involvement probably makes me enjoy those songs more.
Unless I just really like the song. In my case, I almost never play any songs without Expert steps except the "Don't Promise Me" mixes, which I play almost every time. _________________

Wow.
I'd kill myself if I rode in someone's car and they had that playing on the stereo. _________________

Yes, Dax is THAT bad. :c
Haha, I put my ITG CD in when my mom was driving, and Summmer Speedy Mix came on, and my mom was like "WHOA, THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO DRIVE REALLY FAST."
Then she started speeding. |

haha, some of the actual music I listen to makes ! and Vertex^2 sound like Nickelback. I personally think it's cool though that the game makers arent necessarily always thinking about accessability and pop sensibilities when choosing music. Sure you've got the "it's just noise" people and all, but it sure keeps me happy. Vertex^2 is an awesome song. _________________

Personally, when it comes to "VerTex^2", I think it is a bit too much noise. I love the original, and I love the update to the "tune" part of the song, but I think the percussion/bass synth parts can't hold a candle to the original.
EDIT: Then again, I think my mp3 of "V^2" is bad/fuzzy/static-y. Additionally, I've grown to like the song a lot more (it's infectious!). I really don't know anymore. I'm so confused!! _________________

Hybrid and Bouff are horrible in my opinion. And what is wrong with Utopia? |

I'm shocked that you don't like Hybrid and Bouff. I love them because they're fun, awesome, and full of energy.
I knew someone was going to comment on my distaste towards Utopia, though. I don't like it because the song is just meh, no thanks. Plus, the stepchart on Expert is absolute garbage (tapping one foot repetedly on horribly off-beat steps?). It's one of the most overrated ITG songs IMO. _________________

Except those taps aren't offsync, they clearly correlate to specific sounds. _________________

While they do follow certain sounds, those sounds are so difficult to hear that the steps seem off-beat. _________________
