Dance Play Mode

So if I were to enable dance play mode (or is it disable? I don't know, disable non-arrow buttons), how do I navigate through the menus? I'm new to this whole console version thing. Do I just use the player 2 controller? If so, doesn't that make it so I have to play two players? Or at least as the second player? ugh.

It's all right - when you have Dance Play on, all the buttons still work in the menus. However, when you're playing, then the buttons are disabled. See, normally X means down and O means right when you've got controller play (or Dance Play off) enabled - but if you accidently step on them while hitting up for example, you've got a misstep that could turn a later down into a Boo.

So, yeah, don't worry about having Dance Play on - you can still scroll through the menus just fine.

when I turned it on in the options menu, I couldn't back out. like suddenly all buttons except for the arrows just wouldn't function at all. Am I doing something wrong?
