carpet

ok im getting a cobalt flux but ive read that if you play on them on a thick enough carpet they will crack and that you should buy a peice of wood to put under it. do you think i should do buy a peice of wood or would i be fine?

I don't think it'll be a problem. From what I've heard, it's the thick shag rugs that cause CFs to crack. However, if you're at all worried about it, or if you notice your CF bending/moving around a lot while you play, you should put it on a piece of wood just to be safe.
