Bar strength?

If you have tried these pads or just have a good opinion, which bar is stronger?

The first one looks like the fact that it is one piece could be good, but the second one does have a back support

You can't tell by looking at it. The strength depends on the thickness of the bar (the metal thickness, not the diameter of the tubes), the material it attaches to, and the size of the bolts which hold it on. The weight of the pad is also a factor. None of these bars come close to the arcade and many players find them to just be in the way.
