GAH! I hate Wild Rush! It speeds up like 5 times & it just sounds like moaning!
ITS DARE! wrote: | Well, Wild Rush is supposed to be about two people making love... | *"Another One Rides The Bus" Plays* Looks like ANOTHER dirty DDR song.....
Daikenkai: This is just nonsense language from a rotate head...
Drop Out: COME ONNN!! You should've said this!
Macho Gang: Would've expected more from the title....
Orion .78: Doesn't make sense
Make A Jam: You read CyricZ's Konamix FAQ & tell me that doesn't make sense.
Insertion: Ya, I know. "BUT IT'S ABOUT S-" I KNOW. It just sounds wierd *coughslowdowncough*.
Trip Machines: Bunch of wierd noises, plus that ever-so-wierd phrase "Mommy, will you sing me Trip Machine"! HOW CAN YOU SING THAT SONG?!!?
Paranoia Enternal: Bunch of noise again that makes it sound like a ringtone.....But that's what you get for letting a fan do it.
Love Love Suger: To think DJ TAKA did this....cutsie song....

Well, if you count steps, then I'd say Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I know it fits and all but dear gods, you could honestly fall off the pad trying to balance on one foot while waiting for that next step!
(This is coming from a person who likes to go fast and thus usually have a foot up for the next step... So maybe I should just break that habit for that song...) _________________

I always thought 5.1.1 qualified as bizzare, it's OK on IIDX but piano on DDR come on!!! _________________

I think JaneJane is the wierdest song I have ever heard.
it sounds like a group of old people got together one day and decided to smoke the biggest pile of pot on the table, then they start to sing this bizzare song that makes absolutely no sense (I doubt thats even Japanese they are speaking).
Plus the bg video's don't help either. Dancing bears and teapots and worms and cactuses... is it just me or does anyone else see a subliminal message saying that "drugs are ok", lol? _________________

Any song by Akira Yamaoka could be considered by me to be wierd. (Especially 90% of the songs he has in Beatmania and IIDX)
The one that's always made me wonder though is Leading Cyber by DJ Taka... Its got some tight drum riffs and all that, but I mean...
yeah...-Da-da-digital. _________________

Same here, especially when it's concerning his older stuff. 250bpm is uncontrollable techno with this weird babling alien, and Diamond Jealousy is basically just yelling in Japanese over heavy metal backdrops. _________________

*Working man turning into Principal Kuno (Or just some uuber-hawaiian guy)
*Ducks, ninja stars, pop tarts and other things
*Frogs rolling
*"Just Do It!" in Bond font and guns flying randomly _________________

Utopia, that was absolutely hilarious, you got my vote on this 110%. This has definetely made my morning. This is absolutely the most bizarre song of all time for me. When I play this song, its so hypnotic, the dancing teddy bears, do it for me. I've been known to fail this song from time to time, because you can't help by letting your mind wander because of the video (I smite evil dancing teddy bears)
I can't understand, why people would mention drop out, as a bizarre song but I guess it just really depends of people's prferred musical preference. I personally love the song. I feel like when I'm listening to that song I want to bomb the crap out of something. I kind of like songs like that, another song that closely resembles that is a song called shaun imeri called two telephone calls and an air raid from the mortal Kombat annihilation soundtrack.
I perosnally don't think ddr songs are just random noises just put together , I think it can be interpreted as music in one way or another, it all really depends on the person and their own personal taste in music.
I will admit that there are songs on many of the ddr mixes, I do find slightly wierd, but I think they can be placed into the realm of music all depends on what a person's musical taste is.
My GF, always makes fun of me because I like a lot of techno and trance music because she thinks anybody can put it together, and she thinks its just the same set of notes played over and over again for about 5 minutes, but thats her opinion and I don't hold it against her.
Other songs in DDR I find weird are:
CRASH (The Video is just warped and I'm not a big fan of the song anyway.)
Trip Machine [Luv Mix] (The opening to this song, just makes me giggle, when it says Mommy!!! Could you sing me Trip Machine, as if thats a proper lullaby for a child, lol)
321 Stars (Love The Song, just the guy with the freaky glasses, just creeps me out) _________________

Gamelan de Couple
Telephone Operator
Injection of Love (It sounds like old Genesis music)
Legend of Max (WTH'S THE FLY?!)
Trip Machine Survivor (I HATE that noise at the beginning)
Whistle Song. I know what it means, though. It's just wierd that it's a WHISTLE. & this is in the info thingy from Max 2 when you play it the 1st time:
"In the United States, the song was very popular in the clubs and has built up a fan base of whistle blowers across the country." |
