What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I only play at the arcades and I wear socks or have bear feet... i can't play in shoes because i cant feel the pads

At home, I don't wear an shoes or socks (I have a soft dance mat) but at arcades, I wear Nike's or some kind of tennis shoes.

On non-metal pads

--Socks never barefoot the pads stick to your feet.
--Ankle Weights
--Wrist Weights

On metal pads
--Dr. Scholls shoes
--SOMETIMES wrist weights

When I use my laptop in public with stepmania and my foam pads
--Usually socks, sometimes barefoot

on Arcades my old ss adidas.Next time I want to get pumas.they say they're socomfortable that you'll be light on your feet

when i had my cobalt flux: barefoot (OW BLISTERS!)

at the arcade: skate shoes (DVS), adidas originals

wondering if i should by some RUNNING shoes for ddr, like the adidas_1 or something that has high tech. for running?

At home on soft pads, I play with socks on. At arcades or on metal pads, I've started to play with new red and black adios. Wow, skate shoes are comfortable.O_o

I use my old Asics trainers. They have good grip and are easy to step with.

I usually wear my Chuck Taylors. They are thin enough to feel the pad real well. And they're comfy.

for me, its always sneakers. once i wore sandals 2 the arcade, and failed candy(star) standard

Since I play at home on a mat, I don't wear nothing on my feet. Almost fell the one time I tried to play with socks on.

I just play in the first pair of sneakers that I can grab....usually my Dr. Scholls Sneakers....so great to play in those...they cushion your feet as you play.
