Vertex and ! are the only easier ones. |

My friend beat !, and cannot beat delerium yet. He gets through most of the run, but then just stops. So IMO Delerium is harder than !. VerTex is easy to do as well. c450 makes it a 10. on 1x it's a different story, but whatever. _________________

I can guarantee that I would pass !, Vertex, Go 60 Go, Energizer, and Euphoria every time I play them, and I almost never fail HotN or Tell.
That said, I still fail Delirium more than half the times I play it.
It's nowhere near the easiest 12. _________________

Euphoria efore Delirium? You're the exception rather than the rule you know...
Delirium is fairly easy for a 12, MY order is this:
Vertex
DELIRIUM
Tell
Haven't beaten any others, but if I had access to ITG2, I could probably survive through ! and Go 60's Go. All the other 12's are a good deal trickier. _________________

Well, passing order doesn't really dictate difficulty order for any person. I passed Mythology Expert before I passed Utopia and Clockwork Genesis, and I still consider the former harder than the latter two. It was just a matter of which ones I played first. |

It's just an opinion and it depends on what your strengths are. If you are good at endurance throughout the whole song you will be good at HotN. If you are good at monin your feet freakin fast for just a while, y0u will b good at delirium _________________

Believe me, I've played Delirium many times before Euphoria. The first time I played Delirium, I failed in the last five seconds because I just gave up. I had a full life bar, but I just stopped playing because I felt that I would be pushing myself too hard or get too tired if I went all the way.
I passed Euphoria when I was playing with my friend. He wanted to play all 12s and I didn't care, so I played with him. I played with him and passed Euphoria, got tired on Hardcore of the North, beat Delirium, and played Bang. _________________

HotN is just harder. The speed-up in HotN and the Megastream of Delirium are the hardest parts of the song
Megastream: 163BPM constant 16th notes
Speed-up: 169 BPM Almost constant 16th notes with 24th note trills
Before these events in either song, we should check this out...
Delirium: Some streams, some step jumps, all together nothing big (Well, that jump section is tricky for me)
HotN: Oh wait, it's still tricky even when it's only 154BPM! Not to mention the plethra of jumps.
So, in relation to the topic of the thread, Delirium is easier than HotN. All who disagree have weird dancing skilliz. Also, HotN is faster than Delirium at the end and is much more tiring. _________________

You're conveniently ignoring the fact that Delirium's run has candle steps all over it while HotN has absolutely none.
You're also not giving full attention to the fact that an unbroken stream is far more difficult than a broken up one. _________________

If you've been into ITG for a while and can pass the songs every time, Delirium really isnt that hard. If you have the stamina to play the whole way through the song it's pretty easy actually. By asking if a song is easier though, it really depends on what you mean. When I talk about how easy a song is, I'm referring to how easy it is to get a high score on. I'm assuming you are talking about just passing the song though. If that is the case, I would say Delirium is the easiest 12 to pass. Most people however, don't have the stamina or energy I do; in which case I would say ! is the easiest 12 to pass since it just seems like a bunch of stupid thrown in there to the point where if you can read a chart you can pass it. I'll rank how easy I feel all 12's are to score on, and to pass:
To Pass: Delirium, Vertex, !, Energizer, Hardcore of the North, Bloodrush, Go 60 Go, Tell, Determinator, Euphoria
To Score: Vertex, Delirium, Hardcore of the North, Go 60 Go, Energizer, !, Bloodrush, Tell, Determinator, Euphoria
Again it's all on based on play style, stamina, and familiarity with songs. I never play Euphoria, hence I suck at it. I play Vertex a lot, so its a piece of cake. Also I'd like to see how close my order is to everyone else's, I bet some people would say the songs almost exact opposite. _________________

This is kind of becominga 12-footer comparison thread...
anyways, I can only put up ITG 1 12's but here's mine Heff
Pass: Delirium,Vertex,Tell,HotN,Euphoria
Score: Vertex, Delirium, HotN, Tell, Euphoria
This maybe VERY innaccurate seeing that I can only beat the first 3 on my pass list. _________________

I don't think it's hard to pass, but harder. I just don't like it at all, which is probably the main reason for this. And, I probably play a lot differently than you do also. Then you can always take into consideration the fact that I think a lot of the people who are on the boards can barely pass any 12. I personally think it's harder because I can't quite get the steps that fast and I can't stay on beat.
I can ask a similar question though, why do people think Vertex^2 is hard to pass? I've passed it with more consistancy than Euphoria... _________________

You can't handle Euphoria's 32nds (which are a fairly obvious rhythm), but you can handle Vertex^2's bass rush (which makes no sense at all)? _________________
