My tiny suggestion(and I am not sure if it can even be done):
Take stickied topics in every part of the forum, and whichever forum they belong with, "DDR Chit-Chat", "Gameplay" "Mid-Atlantic", etc. and throw them into a sub-forum. If you need an example, I can gladly show you one if you would like.
I think it will help clean up alot of the forums, and some stickies are not even replied in, or have been they had replies/new posts in weeks, or months at a time.
Thanks

Also, no, because:

For example, go into marketplace.
What good would it do to have the important rules thread another level down where even *less* amounts of people will read it?
Those rules threads don't need to be replied to. _________________

And since Jason oddly omitted it, we don't have sub-forums because phpBB doesn't support it yet. _________________

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're using a version that's not actually released.
Otherwise, you not using phpBB... _________________

I think that DDRFreak can use a sort of Backround ,for on the home page atleast. Maybe give it a sort of interface like Super Nova. I just think it'd look pretty tight.
Hell, give the site a makeover! _________________

It doesn't necessarily have to be illegible. Maybe where there is updates written, it can be in a white box with the BG around it so it can be read..
