It's arguably the best flat pad ever created, you may want to mod it, but it still works great if you don't (taken from experience). _________________

Yes, the official ITG pad is good; but in order to have fully functional capabilities with this pad, you will have to mod it.
XMaxX from other topics wrote: | Try the Official In The Groove pad ($29.99) (for a cheap pad, it works well; after modding it). Get a piece of wood (Preferably 36" X 36") and some cardboard pieces (size of the arrows). Place the cardboard pieces under where the arrows should be to raise the arrows up a little bit*. Once in place, then tape it to the wood. Then align your pad on top of the cardboard & wood and tape it all together. It's called modding a softpad so that it doesn't suck. This is how I modded mine, and I never had a single problem (4 months playing on it so far).

Sound:
The pad will only make alot of sound if you play on it while it is crinkled up.
Slip:
If you do not mod it, it will move around from time to time, just like any other soft pad. What makes this pad different from the other soft pads is that it has a has "non-slip bottom" that helps prevent it from sliding too much (but note that it does slide).

Anyways to the tell truth I dont think I can get those wood things to mod... isnt there a better way to mod or just better to play without any mods? thanks agaihn |
