Heard tonight -- Zero's ship date is Feb. 1st. This comes from Dave & Buster's headquarters, and this is what they have been told by Andamiro. _________________

Update with Zero data:
* 25 new songs (including 2 hidden)
* 131 total songs (we had been told 128 previously)
* "additional 30 steps" (I'm thinking they mean 30 "Another Step" songcharts. But thinking further, we know they redid some stepcharts and added missing modes to some existing songs that never had Crazy or Freestyle charts, so this probably refers to that instead)
* apparent 24 missions to accomplish
* hidden reward system (which is mostly tied to missions, I hear)
* various arrow skins
* newest, cutting-edge graphics, etc.
* all the stuff we already know (Noob Mode, Split Mode selection, etc.)
* compatible with both MK6 and MK5 boards
New machines come with the MK6, while existing MK5 machines apparently can just purchase the hard drive upgrade w/new marquee and graphics.
Andamiro USA confirms the Feb. 1st ship date.
Lastly, Zero has been designated as the official version of WPF2006.
P.S.: Contrary to earlier rumor, it no longer appears that Zero will have Easy/Normal stepcharts for all/most of the songs. But still a nice selection from which to choose.
P.S.S.: Order through your local authorized distributor (look under "Amusements" in your Yellow Pages, or the Yellow Pages of a nearby major city). Your arcade owner/operator should already know who it is. If not, Andamiro USA can assist. _________________

So all the D&Bs are slated to be sent Zero on that day, or does it depend on the specific locations? I'm only worried since our waaaay down south local was late with Exceed 2, and I'm not too fond of having to wait.
:P
But hey, long as someone here gets it, it's a technicality at worst.
There's a couple CECs around too, come to think of it... will they get the same automatic upgrade hookups that D&B does? _________________

I think all the D&Bs that currently have Pump will get the upgrade to Zero. But, it takes longer to ship from Cali to Florida, than say Cali to Texas, so I might be playing Zero a day or two before you, lol.
Haven't heard about CEC plans. _________________

No, sorry, I have not heard a price. Tell your arcade operator to ask their distributor for games to find out. It should be simple.
If that doesn't work, let me know, and I'll give you some contact info. _________________

Both Mexico and Brazil have had Zero for a few days now. Today, the official Zero site went up at piugame. Shouldn't be too much longer. Maybe we'll get it early? *hopes* _________________

I think that's very likely, as we're expecting our Zero upgrade later this week. Carlos said Andamiro began shipping it out yesterday(Friday) and it takes three business days.
Maybe it depends on location though: Carlos deals with AM directly a lot of the time. _________________

I'm eagerly awaiting the date and the location of the first PIU: Zero to be played in the US. Isn't Andamiro US located in socal though? I believe everyone is gonna hate me for playing exceed 2 songs when it releases since I barely know the song selection of the piu franchise >.>
Oh, I'm having issues transitioning to NM. I'm still having issues no-barring Valenti and De Ja Vu. It feels like I'm extremely sluggish or apprehensive to gun it or something. |

Okay so I'm like 5 miles from Torrance... I'm still uncertain on if all the arcades currently with Exceed 2 shall upgrade to Zero. Besides, is the time of distributing the machine the same as the upgrade? |

Yes, my arcade is going to be upgrading to Zero next month! XDXDXD I can hardly wait. Now that I can pass all songs on crazy in Exceed 2 (except Canon D and WDYRW) I'm awaiting all the new challenges up ahead. Especialy BotW2, LIAD2, Witch Doctor, Etc. Going to be so much freaken' fun to be up to date with everyone, and not 6~8 months behind like we have been w/Pump. |

Im still talking to the managers at my arcade to upgrade. Im kinda getting tired of Exceed 2. But yeah, hopefully they will give in. Oh and me and my friends might be getting our own pump machine for 2k. Were trying to see if we can scrape up the money. We already have like 1.3k so were not too far off and we all have jobs. _________________

It's up to each arcade owner/operator whether they choose to upgrade or not, so hopefully some of yours will. If not, drive to a D&B, since they'll likely all be upgrading. You're about in the middle of 3 D&B's there (Irvine, Orange, and Arcadia).
I would think shipping of the upgrade and also brand new machines would be about the same, whichever is selected. _________________

Yay, Zero's out in about a week. I can't wait. I soooo want to see Forever Love's new HD/CZ charts. T.O's Footprint and Cho PD's My Friend will be the first K-Pop songs I play. And of course, BanYa's Phantom, just to see how horrifically hard it is.
Damn, this reminds me. I better get out and play Exceed 2 again, before they upgrade. I've only played that game about 4 times since the Dallas tourney.
Speaking of older mixes that shouldn't be upgraded, how about Perfect Collection? We're lucky enough to have one of these in Houston, and it's only 50 cents. I went to play it at Greenspoint Mall recently, and looks like the management at Tilt finally fixed the down-right panel on the 1P side (I've been telling them that for some time now). So now I can finally practice Doubles, yay.
I haven't played on a Prem 2 yet, but I'd like to try. That or Extra, I've heard good things about that mix.
Gah, I haven't posted here in like, forever. _________________
