Konami is teaming up with Broadjam to launch the Dance Dance Revolution Song Contest! If you've ever told people "Naoki's got nothin' on my music skills!", now's your chance to prove it and earn some recognition and cash for your efforts. Konami will select up to four submissions from artists to be featured in an upcoming DDR game, and pay $250 each for the privilege. If you think you've got what it takes, head over to the site and register - the contest will be open from February 1st through March 31st. Artists will retain ownership over their submitted content, and you had better do a good job, because Midihead will be one of the judges of your music!

Yes!!! Who would've ever thought this would've happened again since it last did in Japan during 5th Mix.

This seems to confirm that Konami definiately is putting the full-blown effort into US DDR as it did in Japan back during DDR 5th Mix & DDRMAX.

Wow, kind of unexpected! Looks like Konami is taking a note from guitar hero (LOVE Cheat on the church). COuld end up interesting!

And to Ty, go for it. If you think you can do it, you should join! It would be nice to have an actual song from someone on DDRfreak!
