Hi! My name is Cindy and I've been playing DDR for about 4 years. I was really into it when i first got it but I stopped playing until I bought a new mat for my Xbox. Now I play when I can! I love the music from DDR (I can't get enough of it!) and my ipod is filled with ddr songs. It's the best! Everyone calls me weird because i love the music so much. Oh well...what do they know?
I live in NYC, I'm 18, and i hope to meet cool pplz on here, even in the NY area!! Peacies!

I wasn't planning on posting an introduction but oh well. I'm a 16 year old DDR player. Sadly enough I got into it by means of DWI which evolved to home console playing (+99% of where I play) and I've only played in public once for 6 songs. I'm a Tech I guess but I've had the habit of trying to pass as hard songs as I could but now I'm going back to the roots and becoming a PA player. I plan on getting a whole bunch of more DDR public exposure now, I guess consoles aren't nearly as good. Guess that about covers it. Oh, for diffuclty I had just gotten into heavy with C's on most songs but I'm going back to light to become a PA. When I tell people I play DDR but can't do any real dancing (well ok I can slow dance but that's it). Oh well. |

The best advice I could give is you gotta choose between controller and pad, can't do both. |

Hey, I'm Dave obviously. I was going to tell all of you that I was good, but then I saw posts by guys with AAA's so I decided against that. I believe that I will tell you I'm ranked 3rd in my city. (Allen, TX) I can at least pass a few Maxx songs, my favorite is Maxx Unlimited. Overall I think the Maxxs and the Paranoias are my favorite series. My favorite song overall is Sakura by RevenG, it appears on all DDRExtreme machines (which is my favorite series of machine) I've only been playing for one year, but I predict many more good years to come. It's nice to come here and see other people like me.
I like that.
Goodbye:) _________________

I'm #Infinity. I'm an enormous fan of DDR, and I've received seven Heavy AAA's since joining DDR FREAK. Okay, so you probably don't even care about that, since I'm sure most people here have been playing for like three years (I've been playing since November of 2004), but I'm still glad to chat with anyone on the site, especially since I don't know anybody who likes DDR as much as I do . |

Hi, I am Dr Shotgun. I do not normally go under the name Dr Shotgun online, but I used it for these forums because I joined in order to mess around. My first thread made here was a troll, and tons of people took the bait but I never really got to troll people because a mod locked the topic when the trolling was reaching the really fun part.
I look forward to possibly trolling fanboys that I see, and people who think they are really cool because they can flame people. _________________

Hey, wutz up? The name is UTOPIA, and no I didn't call myself that just because I'm so infatuated with the song (which I'm not but it is one of my favorites). I don't wanna go into details about my name but everything you wanna know will be explained if you check out my website (click on the UTOPIA banner on the bottom where it says "What's Your UTOPIA?")
My real name is Chris. It's been 3 years since I first started playing DDR. My sister was the first one to get into it, but when she started to loose interest in it, I took over and got into it myself... ironic, huh? Anywho I am always trying to do better at the game. So far I have accomplished one of my 5 goals on DDR... complete the 5 super hard songs, and one of those songs (PARANOiA Survivor) I passed with a B. Now all that's left is Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, The Legend Of Max, and PARANOiA Survivor MAX ONI.
I joined this site yesterday hoping to meet other DDR/ITG Freaks like myself and post forums about random DDR/ITG stuff. Cause let's face it... if there's one state that is the first to know everything and hold so many tournaments, its California. New York only has a tournament held on October at the Javet Center, and isn't that popular among other people. In otherwords, I try to explain to people about it and they look at me like I have 10 heads.
And I know my font is a little big but if theres one thing you should know about me is that I am original and do my own thing at times. Besides, the font is not THAT big and if the people who created this forum didnt want the font to change, they wouldn't have that option open, so lets juat say that I am taking advantage of that option, lol. _________________

I've been lurking around here for a good little while (pushing 2+ years) and only recently started to post. I figured it's about time to get vocal. I've been on the scene for about 4 years on and off (REALLY on and off), though been more consistant about the last year. And most people that I play with know me as Kento. _________________

My name is Joseph, and I am new to DDR and have always watched people play rather than participate. Well, since I only had a Gamecube, I couldn't really play DDR until DDR Mario Mix came out, but I didn't get it. I didn't know it was going to be so popular that it sold out everywhere.
Then I found Stepmania and tried it out with the keyboard, then with the Ignition Dancepad, and I found it to be very enjoyable and fun. Now, I am sharing this with my nephews and nieces, and I actually found a used DDR Mario Mix on the way home from work with no pad, and an MC Groovz Dance Mix with a pad. Thus, I now have a way to play on the Gamecube. (Now trying to figure out if there is an adapter for Ignition 3.0 to Gamecube.)
I live in the Los Angeles area in Playa Del Rey, California, in United States, but I work in Orange County in Irvine, as an Accountant (CPA too). Just so happens that I think the new DDR Supernova is going to be tested in Boomers about a mile from where I work. Thus, after this, I think I am going to check it out!!!
Right now I can only do 3-4 footers. I was excited when I passed Can't Stop Falling in Love in light. I guess I have a long way to go. |

Ooh, I can post!
Anyway, I'm Emptyeye. If you see an Emptyeye elsewhere on the Internet, it's probably me (With the notable exception of AIM). I've played DDR on and off since probably 2003 or so, though only started getting serious with it the second half of 2005 as a means of getting in shape.
What else...I play the home versions basically exclusively, as I've never made the trek out to go find any DDR machines. I presently own DDRMAX and MAX2 for PS2, and can generally pass the 9-footers pretty easily (HVAM and ee (lolz it r also my s/n's initials) on MAX being the two main exceptions; I've passed them, but don't yet know if I can do it consistently), though the Maxes still own me good. I also own the PS2 ITG, and am at about the same point--I can pass most of the Hard and some Expert 9s.
When not DDRing, I play bass, work for a bank, and of course play other games. |

Helllloooooo.... I joined months ago, but I forgot to post my intro: I'm Mr..Nintendo and I'm fanatic who happens to own an Xbox (story for another day) and after playing DDR:UM3 I got hooked. I still haven't payed in an arcade yet (there must be some kinda "line ritual" that I haven't been told about). And I joined here! Hmm... that was a bit shorter than I imagined... Maybe you'll see me around again when I have enough spare time

Hey, whats up I'm Ko5 ... or Randall if you want to be formal.
I recently turned 18, um im fixing to move to St. Petersuburg Florida (well hopefully) and I am currently living in Lakeland, FL. Im looking for people to dance with choreograph and stuff like that.
I can do some songs on heavy (Ive only been playing for a little over 1 month) I still have never gotten a AAA only two AAs which is gay but thats a whole nother story.
I usually spend my Saturdays at the local theater dancing (with my Ko5 hat of course lmao) spending way too much money on an arcade game.
Uh I do otherstuf like graphic art (not that great) writing and guitar hero (rpgs are nice too as well as any PC port of PS2 games -- Onimusha3 Dynasty Warriors 4 ...etc)
If you live around the area and want to take your dancing up a level let me know -- xko5x aim [email protected] msn [email protected] ..email obviously. |
